If Danny is so mediocre wouldn't you think bhop would jump at the chance to fight someone who in your words "is not very good" and earn almost 4 mil.
He was prepared to fight a hack in his last fight and only earnt 250k so why not do it for 16 x that amount:yep
Hopkins has said on many occasions that he won't fight Dawson because the offer for the fight to happen "disrespects his legacy".
Gary Shaw said that Hopkins was offered around 1.3 mil to fight Dawson and he rejected that offer:deal
Hopkins has to remember hes not the draw he use to be and to be honest he's fallen a little out of favour with the 2 big networks,hence the reason hes considering fighting abroad to increase his purse in the twilight of his career .
