Yes and all of them stood in front of Cotto and hammered him with combinations. They had to put themselves at risk and impose their strength onto him.

You think a Mayweather Cotto fight will look anything like those? Mayweather will be on the backfoot with Cotto walking him down.

Thats the stupidest thing I've ever read. Check that, *******s say stupid **** all the time. Thing is, you dont really believe what you are saying, just trying to make an argument for your boy.

Floyd is bigger, stronger, and far better defensively. If you dont think Floyd has changed in 8 ****ing years, your a moron, but of course you know thats bull****. Not only that, Floyd was injured in the fight, in the second fight he boxed Castillo's ears off and won a clear decision.

So if Castillo laid the "blueprint" how come no other fighter was able to replicate it. Hatton was faster of foot, not as good of an inside fighter, but stronger then Castillo and look what happened to him. You can add Baldomir and a 154lb DLH to that list aswell.

If you think a defensive sieve who got on his bike vs Clottey of all people, a guy who is more defensive and throws less punches then Floyd you're crazy.

If Cotto's defense is so "tight" why has he been rocked against nearly every top level boxer he's been in against. Going back to his 140 days he's been rocked by Corley, Torres, hell even Malignaggi decked him a few times, got rocked by Judah, Mosley, and absolutely punished by Margarito, Clottey and Pacquiao. You think any of them are as good of boxers as Mayweather? Please

Then explain Clottey. Look I know Cotto fans like to block that fight from their memory, cuz they know their boy got lucky. But it did happen, and Clottey isnt active, mostly defensive, yet he had Cotto on his bike. Explain that.

Again if you have to delude yourself, thats fine. But the facts are, Myaweahter is levels above Cotto, and always has been

Floyd would be ripping Cotto in the pocket all day long. His face will look like a kindergarten finger painting class with how many colors that would show up

if floyd stays in the pocket, his body would hurt and get beaten to a pulp.

No one's been able to replicate it I dunno maybe because Floyd hasn't fought 'anyone'? The fact you brought up Baldomir kind of highlights that point.

Cotto has a shaky chin. His defense is leaky, but liek I said his vulnerablity is generally uppercuts. Malignaggi decked him? I'd have to go back and watch that fight, I don't remember that.

Margarito Clottey and PAcquaio punished him, because again.. they are workrate fighters/punchers. They fight off the front foot and they have granite chins, thus they can take Cotto's punches and wear him down.

Clottey stood in front of him with a tight guard, and give and took. He took shots and gave shots, and put together combinations. Floyd doesn't stand and trade like that, he's always 100% safety minded, even at the expense of offense. His mentality these days is the Roy Jones mentality - play keep away with the opponent, keep yourself out of harms way as much as possible, sneak in 1 or 2 potshots.

Based on what? Cotto has fought Pacquaio, Mosley, Clottey, Margarito. Who has Floyd fought at welterweight?

Mayweather would easily outbox Cotto. Now it was a match the public wanted to see and PBF should have fought him but the people picking Cotto to win are blinded by their hate of PBF that they cant pick logically based on styles.

Cotto hasn't gone to the body since the Judah fight. How long ago was that again? His body punching is so overrated it's funny.:patsch

Did you watch the Pacquaio fight? He went to the body quite a bit there.

Not a Floyd fan, but he would dominate Cotto in a very lopsided fight (on the scorecards). Cotto would get picked apart the entire fight.
