Latest ESPN update on Pacquiao-Mayweather

I expected this from Mayweather, one demand after another, because he really doesn't want this fight. But Paq really dissapointed me filing a lawsuit like some ****** yuppie.
I've been a boxing fan since 1970, and I've never seen fighters act like such ****s.

 

lol, its not like the old days. Trash talking has gone to a new level and for some reason the boxers dont want to take it anymore. Use to be part of the sport. I remember ODH was complaining about Roach who called him something and he then said something back. Roach was disappointed with Bernstein etc etc.

No wonder its losing its appeal is becoming a sport for softies.

I don't think that there can be a fight and a law suit. Part of what the complaint alleges is that Pac's earning potencial has been harmed. How are they going to prove damages if Manny is involved in the biggest money fight of all time? It is going to be one or the other, there can't be a law suit and a fight.

It's funny. If you glance at the general forum, you'd think the majority blame Pacquiao but it's just the Mayweathwr fans creating one thread after another. All the ESB polls show the consensus blame Mayweather.

 

I dont see how Manny can win the lawsuit when he agreed to this testing before hand.

 

Defamation...its completely different.

 

So.. defamation.. the rumors were out before the negotiations happened.

They start, the testing is in the contracts, Pac and team agree and are fine with the testing.

Weeks later, they change there mind.

During this, despite wanting to file a suit, are trying to figure out ways to take the test, and even offer to have pre set random dates.


Everything Pac did only made him look worse, nothing Floyd or any of his team did.

They stated their opinion, Pac only made himself look guilty.

Yes, it had nothing to do with the contract. You can stipulate in the contract whatever it is that you would like. Pac agreed, but how do we know that olympic style blood testing is what is written in the contract?!? Unless you have a copy of the said contract then its a diff story.

Team Mayweather openly accused Pac of being roided or using illegal substance as a tool to his success, the mere mention of the word illegal, when used in a specific scenario, which in this case, the unbelievable fact that Pac may have achieved his success with the help of illegal substance, is a clear attempt to discredit Pac's character. Here, the accusations were made without any basis whatsoever. These actions, especially when done under specific circumstances, create different degrees of truth/malice. Thus have a greater chance of affecting one's profession and credibility.

It cant be denied that what Team PBF did has already affected Pac's credibility, whether or not he take any kind of tests, already proved the result of such accusations. The burden of proof is always on the accuser.

Here we have 2 camps trying to prove their cases. Team Pbf needs to prove Pac is roided, as basis for their open accusations and the extra ordinary request of asking Pac to take a different kind of drug test.

Pac on the other hand needs to prove that May and his team are indeed guilty of defamation.

Bottomline, the lawsuit that was filed had nothing to do with the stipulation that Pac agreed to drug testing.

 

Your openly lying and you can be sued for defamation. Team Mayweather made no official statement at all saying Pacman was on drugs or even suspected to be. Mayweather Sr spoke on behalf of himself and his personal opinion and clearly stated that in each and every time he made HIS allegations. Go back to school you little dirty mother****er.

Doesnt have to be official, they gave several interviews where they (sr. IS part of the team is he?:huh) where he openly suggested Pac was on to something illegal.

Anyway, the case was filed. Like i said, they need to prove things to clear things up.
