"Listen, I don't have a problem with Kanye West," he says, "but I do have a problem with skinny jeans. And I have a problem with everybody thinking they can put all these wild and weird colors together, too. Dudes today are flooded with a thousand tattoos, a bunch of piercings and bright colors, and pretend like that makes them different. But guess what? They all look alike. And another thing ..."
He stops and stares straight ahead at the Mayweather Promotions banner hanging from the ring. "I just don't like to be controlled."

I agree with Mayweather here. But thats probably because we from Michigan. We dont play that skinny jeans bright colors bull****.

Huh. What I did was answer the poster's question with an explanation I've given in an older thread.

Apparently your reading comprehension is poor and you thought the question to me was, "Please cite the source for your claims.":patsch

Well considering he outboxed him and was robbed of a decision win, JMM was more than a 'real threat'

"Pulling your leg"? LOL. You keep talking about how it wasn't possible for Oscar to go any lower than 147, therefore Manny going up to 147 to fight wasn't a concession. You either don't want to see it for what it is, or you are just ignorant of what the risks were in jumping up that much weight. Are you not aware that Manny had only one fight under his belt at 135 less than 6 months prior and was fighting at super feather 9 months earlier? Agreeing to this fight at all was a major concession to go well north of his established fighting weight and fight a much bigger man at a weight he'd never contested before.

Let's say Bernard Hopkins is physically unable to make 160 and offers to meet Yuriorkis Gamboa at 165. According to you, if Gamboa agreed to this, Gamboa wouldn't be making a concession because he has the ability to blow up to 165, while Hopkins could go no lower. That almost makes sense.

I didn't "cite" myself. You misinterpreted the reason I added a link to the original thread.

The guy asked me how Oscar cheated on the scales, and I gave him my answer. I had the courtesy to provide the original thread because rather than retype the whole explanation, I simply copied a previous post.
