Pacquiao is the current p4p king and whenever he fights, fans watch. He brings excitement in the sport and knowing that somewhere in the rounds his opponent will get a knockdown or will get knocked out. Just coz Mayweather doesn't want to end up as a statistic, HBO won't drop him. Floyd won't get dropped either coz people want to see Mayweather lose although it would really be impossible since he cherry picks his opponents quite well.

The thread starter is a real definition of a fan boy.

 

Let's be honest here, if there's a fighter that HBO will drop amongst the 2, it's most likely Mayweather, unless he starts fighting the best out there on a consistent basis.

HBO will not drop Pac or Mayweather. The two combined for more than 2 mil PPVs last year and are still arguably the top draws of the sport. HBO is in this business to earn money and not to punish fighters who won't fight.
