He did his job helping Mundine get down in weight.

Oh and if Mundine had those massive piles your talking about he would not be sparring hard rounds at the same time.

In fairness to Sallywinder Ray Kelly starts a thread only a few days ago rather strangely stating that he has been preparing BOTH Mundine and Medley for this 154 lb title fight and that Mundine could "easily" have made the weight a week or so out from the fight his preparation was going that well. Apparently according to Ray, Mundine would have no trouble at all in making the junior middleweight limit yet now Mundine has dogged the fight obviously because he simply can't make weight and his manager has thrown up a smoke screen that they were not happy with the judges which we no was just BS. We need Ray to explain himself i believe.

 

Its fair to say Ray has gone AWOL

Gotta agree especially when Phil said the judges were named and arranged a week or so before the Mundine camp complained.

Mundine has dogged the fight but we cannot be sure of the reasons. Maybe he could make the weight but could not WIN at that weight.
I don't see how Ray Kelly has lost any credibility at all. Who knows what is really going on. These posts are based on a whole lot of unfounded assumptions. I think it's wrong to besmirch someones reputation when you cannot (yet) be sure of the facts.

 

We all enjoy Ray's insights BUT he started a thread and made some very bold statements that appeared to be total BS to me and a few others on the board especially stating that Mundine could "easily" make 154 a week and a half out from the fight and strangely stating that he was helping prepare both fighters for a word title fight which seems very very strange. I would just like Ray to explain his comments. When Phil is questioned about the IBO he ALWAYS comes on here and explains their rules and regulations to clarify with us why decisions were made etc etc. I expect Ray to do the same.

Its clear as fine air that mandy couldn't make the weight otherwise the fight would still be on for the 154lb title. Its not so its obvious that once again mandy's expectations have exceeded his capabilities. Oh well at least deadly medley is getting a good payday if nothing else.
