My PowerBreathe arrive erlier today. I heard alot of good things about it so I decided to buy it and see for my self. For those who are interested in improving their respiratory muscle with the PowerBreathe, I will be doing a progress report for 6 weeks to find out if it helps with my endurance and overall performance. Anyways here's a few pictures of my PowerBreathe and I will post more of the parts that came with it tomorrow. It appears that machine is setup to breath through the mouth instead of the nose(I might be wrong). I can see breathing exercising beneficial to a boxer if they focused on the air going through the nose.
Heres a video talking about the PowerBreathe for those that are curious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buPiZJ9bUao
i got a power breathe a few months back, i used it a few times then just stoped using it. I didnt use it for long enough to see improvement but when i used it i could definatly feel my respiratry muscles working
from comments: So, basically, it's anerobically training the muscles responsible for aerobic respiration? lol
my twitpic is acting up, so I will make a video slide show of about 7-8 pics I took of my powerbreathe..
Well we going to find out. Im going to put to rest all the BS surrounding this product good or bad at the end of 6 1/2 weeks so stay tune to see if your opinion is BS or not. Also I will have the slide show up in a few, just been busy with some stuff.
Very interesting, I could see the logic behind it...surely a stronger respiratory system has to help when you would normally be breathing hard in a fight/training right? Keep us updated.
