Sugar Shane Mosley sour: Forget Pacquiao, Mayweather, I'm Numero Uno

Shane does deserve a fight with the winner of Pac and Floyd...

 

But they are trying to negotiate their own fight...and you can't understand this lol... It's like when Floyd wanted to fight Shane long ago, and Shane had money to make with DLH... Nobody said, Shane didn't want Floyd...money talks!

 

Mosley lost his last but one welterweight fight to Miguel Cotto.

His claims to be the number one welterweight are hardly indisputable.

 

It would be real nice if he were to beat Berto and then the winner of Floyd vs Manny. That would be a nice way to retire, and I think he can do it.

 

The same can be said for Pac, Floyd and PW since he only has one loss at ww. Shane is not the #1 ww, and fans know this.

Shane is the consensus best WW in the world AND IMO HE IS THE #1 WW IN THE WORLD??

To be fair, Floyd was the undisputed WW champ when he went away for 16 months, and Pac beat the man who beat Shane. Shanes only claim to the throne is beating Margo who beat Cotto, trouble with that is, Margo didnt have his bricks against Mosley but most likely did against Cotto.

If PBF-Pac dont come through, Floyd and Pac needs to be talking about Mosley instead, not Mathew Hatton or Mallignagi!

 

business wise, he's very high risk low reward for pac/may (given the amount they could make fighting each other).

legacy wise he'd do wonders for the both of them (if he beats berto).

only reason his name isn't being mentioned so much is because of the ongoing negotiations between pac/may, and the fact he has a huge fight signed already. We'll see exactly how much pac/may fear mosley after jan 30th. Only thing is, I'm pretty sure pac/floyd wont fight in March, if they do it'll be late 2010, pushing a possible fighting against Mosley into mid 2011, where he'll be 1 and a half years older.

Pretty frustrating state of affairs for Mosley imo. Although Paul Williams may present himself for a 2nd 2010 bout, I doubt he'll be getting much of a sniff from may or pac until his age could potentially hamper his opportunity.

 

I don't think it feels genuine either considering there has never been a history of Mosley talking like this. I know it is slimes like GBP telling him to start calling people out, and making some noise otherwise, as Bernard will say "you ain't getting fed".

This is not part of his personality, and is not the new Mosley, . . . .he is just being told what to say.

 

Mosley went even with Cotto then destroyed Cotto's conqueror. He's the clear No. 1 right now.

Mosley can be fighting for Welterweight kingship. Mayweather is fighting Pac for greatest of this generation.

 

the fight isn't even on, mayweather is scared to lose and pac is scared to lose his winning streak, both guys are happy about negotiations breaking.
