We seem to be talking a lot about Minter lately. Quite right too. How do we see this one going ? I visualise Alan taking it on points over twelve or fifteen. He'd be too fast, and have too much variety for Chris. Providing he did n't get cut badly.

Too fast? Eubank is faster imo. Eubank might be the strongest MW in history, a real beast at the weight, plus the much slicker of the 2. Eubank has faults that Minter may capitalise on but I see it being close affair with Eubank pulling out a late KO at his best

Eubank didnt pose quite as much pre-Watson 2, that fight took away his killer instinct. Eubank also KO'd a few similar fighters watson being the best and I'd say Watson is better than Minter to

I am a huge Minter fan, but all I see is Chris countering all night slicing and dicing Alan! I don't think we ever even get to the cards! stoppage around 6-8

Minter gets underrated, Eubank gets overrated. I think it would make a competitive fight and would go the distance, although as Stevie said, thats providing Minter didnt get cut which is a real possibility. I'm hard pressed to pick a winner but I'm gonna go Eubank, although he had less will he had more talent and his counter would wear Minter down over the course of the fight.

as already said if minter dont get cut it goes the distance. who ever gets the nod it could well be an unpopular decision as this could well be a close fight i would shade toward eubank myself

    Another vote for eubank.

He sure had a heeluva winning streak for a long time. A ton of title defenses, so the guy definately knew ho and what to do to win fights. I think minter would've had a tough time in that era with Eubank/Watson/Benn & a guy like Collins even.

    Stronger than Tiger,Fullmer,Valdez,Lamotta?
Eubank ducked the best fighters at his weight, imo.
And got the breaks against some of the poorest challengers the division has seen.

Sadly true, some people are blind to this however.

Minter wins on points if he manages to stay in control of himself. He'd use his height and southpaw stance to frustrate Chris. If Dan Sherry could do it, Minter certainly could, but more effectively.
