    Will,

Okay...You want to talk for a few minutes. I have clearly delineated why I think the fight will not happen. Why don't you give me your opinion of why it will, because so far all I've heard is that his manager promised you that it would.

your statement makes it sound like Wlad picked chambers....WBO picked chambers.

BTW...Klitschkos sell out every fight even in the US...15,000 seats up tp 60,000

That's fair. But it doesn't exactly mean that you can think logically. Again, that is not a slight, real or imagined, it is just an opinion. Simply because someone has knowledge on a subject doesn't mean that they can be reasonable about it. And let me tell you, so far, I haven't heard one convincing argument from anyone as to why this fight will happen. In my opinion, the obstacales are far more compelling. Two facts: Haye and his manager have both publically states that they will only take the fight if they get an even split. 2.) The Klitschkos are currently the only ones who have contracts with HBO Sports, ie, an American boxing network. It seems to me that the Klitschkos presently bring more to the table, which makes this fight extremely difficult to make unless one of these fighters suddenly decides to take a pay cut.

I did actually put why earlier in the thread.

Haye has always wanted to fight the best and be the best!

He won his first World belts abroad and he then defended them (and unified them) against a dangerous opponent when he had the easy option of moving up in weight.

Haye's last 10 fights stack up against anyone.

He made his pro debut against Tony Boothe.

All these things point to a guy that wants to be the best and fight the best. I agree he seems to have good business acumen etc but at the end of the day he's a fighter and he loves to fight!

    1. True

    2. I agree to an extent. The public might be satisfied with his opposition, but proper boxing fans wont be. Everyone already knows how the WBA has operated in recent years, and if Haye goes with the program a lot of people here (most?) will call him a fraud. I expect Haye knows this, its up to him whether he gives the fans the fights they really want. I'll judge him by the end of 2010

    3. I think an even split is pretty fair, although you could argue in the Klitschko's favour with this. Personally I couldn't give a **** who gets paid what. If Haye (or one of the Klits) makes a big deal of money and uses it as an excuse to get out of the fight everyone wants to see, they will be remembered for ducking the most meaningful heavyweight fight out there

    Really?

dont think someone will have to take a pay cut... funny how Haye always said.."I want to fight the best"...yet time after time...itd seems to be more of "I want to fight the best, if the MONEY is right":hey
