Same goes for any heavyweight, if they land on you its going to hurt.

I don't think he's much to worry about. He will maul Wlad if he gets him first and he will be to quick and powerful for an aging Vitali.

Hayes chin is about average, but as someone stated his speed against some of the lesser opponents will keep him out of danger.

But what worries me is the way Haye goes down. He goes down like he has been shot and looks like a newborn baby deer trying to get their legs under them.

Against Thompson, Mock and Mormeck this was the case and also that amatuer knockout thats doing the rounds, and apart from Thompson Mormeck and Mock arent regarded as heavy punchers.

I would say that Ruiz has the better beard than Haye for instance.

    absolutely.

i think Haye is going to make his name in boxing lore by beating the three eastern European giants, but the truth might be that Solis is Haye's biggest danger (again).

If Haye fights for only a couple more years, I hope he fights and beats Ruiz (very possibly still the best yank), both Klitschkos, Solis, Povetkin and Boystov. That's a very solid CV with the cruiserweight belts behind him as well.

David Haye, Amir Khan, Kevin Mitchell and Frankie Gavin: believe the hype.

Nathan Cleverly, Carl Froch (sadly), Kell Brook, James Degale: don't.

Vitali and Vlad will knock Haye out, but Haye does not seem to abide with a contract. Haye has backed out two times now.

Amazingly as a HW i dont think he's been caught flush the way he was down at CW, where his punch resistance clearly looked suspect "at times", that said he has been cracked at HW by Wlad among others, and has managed to come through thus far!

The fact he has somewhat of a astronomical speed advantage, and has "sharp reflexes" anyway!, im not sure i ever see David being flattened as a HW, but you never know, one shot behind the ear from these big clubbers and its lights out!

Generally speaking Haye's conditioning seems to be on another level to that of his younger days which obviously contributes to speed of reflex and punch resistance too.

David Haye know's he is no Evander Holyfield when it comes to punch resistant.

But he accept's, that taking a punch from time to time is part of the game.

He knows his limits, and knows exactly what to do when he is stunned.
