if you consider the fighters only then cotto alone does not make manny much more than floyd. if you consider the time at welter for each fighter then floyd does look weak.

 

Floyd has been figthting at WW for 3 years and his biggest challenge was...??????

Pac fought the weakest of the four lightweight champs, then fought DLH which doesn't really count, but then KO'd Hatton at 140 who was the lineal champ and then Cotto who was top 3 at WW.

Floyd beat the lineal Welterweight, but that was the only true Welter he fought and his Oscar fight also doesn't count as it was at Jnr Middle. Then the rest of the guys he's fought at 147 were 140 lbs really.

Floyds early career and overall standard is very high, but his WW campaign doesn't look great in comparison to hi 147 campaign.

 

Pacquiao...he won't even fight Foreman, the so called "worst 154 title holder"
