First of all, you'd have ground to stand on if Oscar didn't land a clean left hook to Mosley's jaw a millisecond before that, so you don't.

Secondly, anything positive stated about Oscar always precedes the typical hater comments -- no surprise there.

Third, how many times do I have to repeat myself -- Oscar lost that fight, I know.

And finally, I never said Mosley was hurt.

Nahh, he wasn't hurt nor anywhere near going down. The punch just kind of knocked him off ballance a little. You're reaching here, pal.

Yet, you just admitted the punch affected his balance, which is exactly what I was saying. That's what happens when you take one of the chin that jolts your head and that's how knock downs happen. Lesser men would have fallen, but Mosley has a granite chin and recovered immediately. Yea, I must be reachin real far.

That punch got Shane's attention but it did not slow shane down as he continued throwing hard shots at Oscar.

Let me just clear one thing up, I'm not an Oscar hater. I was a big fan, but did lose respect for him towards the end of his career for some of his bull**** decision he made, but that's another thread. I still give him credit for rejuvinating the sport at a time when it was in a slump. I also give him credit for his success as a promoter. I dont hate the guy, that's harsh.

Now, maybe we got the word "wobbled" mixed up. When i say, " he was wobbled from that shot", to me if a fighter gets Wobbled he was hurt for a second. Now if you are saying, that shot caused Mosley to lose balance, I'll agree with you. But I'm telling you, that crazy body shot attempt played into his loss of balance as well.

If he didn't throw that body shot, and just got nailed with the left. He probley would of just took a step back and not that funny little side step. But thats what made this punch look so different, DLH got him a split second befor Shane fired and caused him to lose balance.

Like J.R. said, "whatever makes you sleep at night." Good night

Best way to answer this. Was Mosley attacking and did he back off after that hook? I remember it as yes. Therefore, the punch hurt him. That simple.

I had the fight 7-5 for Oscar, but Mosely got split decision.

The fight could easily have gone DLH's way but I had it 6-5-1 for Sugar!

It's the same as a fighter being put down with a flash knockdown. Usually they're not hurt. Whether it was Mosley throwin a shot from a awkward angle, didn't see the punch coming or whatever, that punch caught him and caused him to do something he wouldn't have otherwise -- stumble.
And these are the punches that do dammage, the ones you're not expecting or get caught with when you're in an awkward position. But, like I said, Mosley immediately recovered. I believe he was rattled, but within a second he looked fine.
