I don`t think this will on the 3rd there is a Star Wars show on at the arena that evening, i think the 10th will be more likely.

Go out in Greenwich (cutty sark bit)beforehand, plenty of decent pubs and restaurants, particularly up royal hill (try Greenwich Union for the beer, which includes some decent German and Yank brews apart from the Meantime microbeers, and Mogul for the curry). It looks like a horrendous walk on the map, but is do-able. A cab would cost about seven or eight quid I reckon, though there are buses that take about 10 or 15 minutes to get there.

There's apub called the Pilot nearby the O2 which is pretty good. Getting out is horrendous, though. If you're staying in a hotel, go for Greenwich then you can walk a few hundred yards out of the O2 afterwards, and more easily get a quick, cheap cab and go out on the lash afterwards.
