Got a feeling Clottey's Going to taste his first KO/TKO loss.......

Dificult guy to KO not only Clottey have a hard chin but He has a superb defense too, very hard to ko, a body punch can do it but Pac is not a body puncher, but Clottey had been rocked so He can ko Clotey, but very difficult to do.

 

When has Clottey been rocked... Don't say by your *****-ass, PW-ducking boy Cotto... He didn't rock **** except the MSG Judges that night...

I don't think ANYONE can get a stoppage win over Clottey. In addition to an iron chin, body, etc., he covers up a lot, even to the detriment of workrate, and to my knowledge, he doesn't cut easily, if even at all. 9999 out of 10000 times, win or lose, Pac doesn't stop Clottey.

 

If Pac can get in a Hatton-like bomb, why not. No one will survive that shot. It's a question of whether he can get it in or not. We have seen Cotto threw Clottey like a rug doll. Pac has a chance.

 

Baldi caught Clottey with a picture-perfect left hook that caught Clottey square on the chin.... And all Clottey did was duck and move around and avoid Baldi for about 5 to 6 seconds and then get back to whippin his ass...:good


But that was one good punch set up by a rather awkward, unbalance sequnce right before that.

 

That shot on hatton was a good solid hard punch. That was by no means a super-duper, mortal kombat punch...

 

Duck and move around because he got rocked, but ya Clottey had that fight easy. It's surprising to see though.

Clottey does **** like stand around and get punched though, you could see it in the Cotto fight. Pacquiao's better than Cotto.

I, too, could see a stoppage victory for Pacquiao because of this.

Clottey has good tuck-in defense and counterpunching, nice left hooks, and has the advantage in strength. Pac's speed+power+angles+chin which are the main keys in victories over cotto,hatton,delahoya whom pac fought above 140.

I see this fight a ref stoppage in the late rounds through (AGAIN) cuts all over Clottey's face. But due to Clottey's great stamina/conditioning, I might also see this as UD for Pac. But I couldnt count out Clottey's size and strength coz he may KTFO pacman at any round... IMO laang.

 

The chances of Pacquiao knocking Clottey out are extremely poor. Extremely. I'm not even sure he'll beat Clottey. Pac's a living legend but everybody hits a wall at some point. Clottey has rehydrated up to 170 pounds.

 

I SURE hope this fight aint on PPV............

Pac ODLH II all over again...

 

There is a slight possibility of it happening because of Pac's angles. Clottey uses the peek-a-boo and angles might penetrate it. He also lacks lateral movement.

That said, Clottey is technically very sound. He is always aware of where he is in the ring at all times, he doesn't move a lot but that's because he doesn't rely on that for his defense. His defense is really solid, he hardly get hit flush against any type of opponent. That includes Margarito, Cotto, Chico and speedy Judah. He has good punch selection and hits hard enough to get the respect of opponents and his hand speed, though not blinding, is in no ways slow. He's also very good against southpaws. The straight right, triple\quadruple left hooks, jabs, uppercuts. And he is a very good counter puncher. He doesn't throw a lot but he is quite accurate, he almost always out-lands his opponents without out-throwing them ala Mayweather.


All in all, I expect a Pac UD or SD in a tight fight or the less likely Pac domination ala de la Hoya but without the stoppage.
