I don't see Vitali letting Joe just waltz in without throwing straight right hands & left hook/uppercuts.

Oh, and Vitali actually throws every punch in the book and then some, so I don't know where you got that part about Vitali's "lack of offensive variation" that you were talking about. Maybe you were confusing him with Wladimir? Wlad has less variety than Vitali.

I think it's more a problem of nostalgic fans rather than pure hatred. Joe was a great no doubt & I'm sure he would land a few but Vitali has the better chin & Frazier's style is tailor made for losing against the bigger Heavyweights, with good reflexes, accuracy & power. Lennox Lewis would destroy Joe also.

Instead of childish remarks why not try actual facts, common style opponents, etc. to make your case?

That's a reasonable argument right there, except all of Vitali's opponents try to fight on the inside and it never really pans out for them. I think Joe would have his moments, maybe even be the first to knock Vitali down from a well placed punch, but VK's too strong and he would bully Joe even if Joe could get inside.

Obviously anything's possible, especially at Heavyweight, but Vitali would time & counter anything Joe threw from the outside in my opinion.

......................and let me add that you're not exactly a Klitschko fan by any stretch of the imagination. :yep

In all honesty it's just a bad style matchup for Joe.

cant think of a fighter joe frazier fought that even comes close to vitali in size

biggest fighter i can think of was buster mathis and geoege foreman 225 ish , mathis was blubbery big man of about 240 and had a competitive fight with joe but had no power and joe wore him out.

foreman was just to big and powerfull for joe.

joe and ali had a great trilogy and it obviously enhances his reputation.

but is hard to asses joe v a fighter like viatli because we never him fight someone similar.
about 80% of joes wins at heavy were over fighters about the size of tarver .

Vitali victim Larry Donald would probably beat Frazier. Get real.. Vitali brutalizes Joe.
