Your problem is everything revolves around chins, there is alot more variables that go into a fight besides your creepy chin obsession.Holy get's retired tomorrow or I'll stick my foot in my mouth.:deal

Holyfield may want to gain speed by coming in light against Ibragimov, but this will likely have the opposite effect.

Holyfield weighed in at a startling 211.5 lbs. yesterday.
In his last bout he was a solid fighting trim 219.
This is a significant weight loss of mostly muscle, especially for a 45 year old warrior (6 days from now) who has put his body through war after war since turning pro in 1984.
Amazingly, Holyfield hasn't been as low as 211 since he fought Bobby Czyz over 11 years ago in May 1996.
This weight looks like a warning sign of overtraining.
Could a fierce competitor like Holyfield have possibly overtrained in hopes of attaining an historic 5th world title?

In the end, this effect will [slow] him down instead of speeding him up.
I expect Holyfield to tire noticably entering the mid rounds.

Make sure you wash those tootsies before you have to insert 'em in that orifice. :D

It's not all about Iggy's chin - he's just plain ol' mediocre overall. :yep The question is whether Evander retains enough of his greatly superior ability to beat it. If he's degenerated below the Ray Austin level, he may be in trouble. I don't think he has.

I hope he can even though the odds are against it.

I'm flip floppping whether 212 lbs will be good for Holyfield.

Obviously he has cut down on his weight lifting regimen to come that low.

I'd have preffered Holyfield to come in weighing 215 lbs, so that he'd have the muscle to Hold is own on the inside and be able to manhandle Sultan on the inside and walk him down.

My thinking now is that the Holyfield team thinks that Sultan is going to be darting in and running out, and that Holyfield has to be light on his feet to catch up with Sultan.
.....they also must want Holyfield to match Sultan's hand speed.

Does anybody know of a link besides FN's who does'nt really have a picture showing the entire upper body from waist up, where there are picture's depicting the fighters physiques???

211.5 does seem rather low for Holyfield at this stage in his career.
I dont know how often their are fighting events in Russia, but it could possibly be a case where the scales are off a few pounds, because really I dont notice anything different from the one picture that FN's has that would indicate to me that Holyfield has scaled down.
Holyfield's upper body from that side picture looks the same as it's been in his last several fight, as does his face.
His face does'nt have the drawn look from having lost any weight!

Its not significant in the slightest. Its only 8lbs. 8lbs which wouldnt have been purely musclemass. In anycase this simply means his metabolism has speeded up and Holy has been doing alot more cardio than normal. He will not tire in the later rounds thats for sure unless his on the end of a bad beating. To be honest it appears that Holy again has done the unthinkable and turned back father time.

Could mean Holy is sick with a stomach flu or ate something that disagreed with him. Keep that in mind.
