Check Sam Satterfield article today from the house of the boxing fans. http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/01/...ight-joshua-clottey-at-144-catchweight/#cntnt Enough with the catch weight bull**** talks. The fight will happen at the WW limit of 147.
would be nice if you posted a link to prove what you say is true...but if it is true then thats great..enough of this catchweight bull****
yeah, no quote from Koncz in it... by the way.. since Clottey has problems making weight...10million/pound fine?
Unlike Cotto, who was contracted to come in at a catch weight of 145 pounds, Clottey will not be required to weigh-in at a catchweight. He will be able to tip the scales at the standard welterweight ceiling of 147 pounds. Originally, Koncz had said that there was a catchweight of 144 for Pacquiao-Clottey, but he has since corrected that. A catchweight could have been a huge advantage for Pacquiao. I remember during Cotto-Clottey the commentators were saying that if Clottey beat Cotto, no way would Pac fight Clottey because he's too damn big. Now look what's happening? Pac is one crazy mfer. :bbb
That fight should have been at 147, Pac didn't need the catchweight. But still, it's his one and only catchweight fight. Can't bring up DLH, no way Manny was moving up to 154.
