Pantera, you usually bring very good information but I hope you're wrong on that one. Please. :tired

I really wouldn't be shocked to see him face RJJ. He keeps saying how he still wants the fight and that RJJ was stopped too early

    It'll probably be for Brahmer's now-vacant title.

    Yup.

And I can't lie, I'd watch it too.

    But not on PPV, mind.

B-Hop should be looking for good fights or just retire - we all know he can beat contenders but I would like see him try and spoil todays champions. He has his tune up.

He was willing to come to Oz for the orginal purse but then changed his mind..wanted more money, which is cool to a point. I think Green needs to understand that Hopkins is an ATG and just the notion of him earning the same as his opponant can insult him.

Green didnt out and out refused, just wanted to go back to the negotiations. Nard didnt want 60% of the purse from Ive been told, he wanted 60% of everything..that includes PPV sales in the U.S and Oz, the gate etc..which is a big hit to the profitability of the promotion seeing as Green part owns the company that is outlaying the cash for the fight.

I dont blame Nard for not wanting to come down...he feels he deserves something better at this stage. I just dont know where is going to get that kind of money right now. I dont see a multi million $ fight comiing up for him in the next few months, so he will probably just fight a fringe contender or a vet with name recognition for 6 figures.

With such demands and that boring as hell style Hopkins will get no fights. Hopkins is the most stablished fighter but Green is the bigger draw, so Green deserves at least 50-50.

I hope I am wrong too, but all roads are pointing that way from what I am hearing. Bute is out, Green is out. How Hopkins thinks we fans will but that fight is beyond me. He looked so good against Pavlik. I was really hoping he would have fought Bute. Seems to me he isnt as confident going to Montreal to fight Bute as he was facing Pavlik. Who knows, maybe he does not want to end his career being beat up by a white boy!

Hopkins best fight was Adamek this was a winable fight good reward and sos so risk, but sadly He move up to Heavyweight. Now Hopkins have no more options just to fight Green or Jones, He know He would lose to Bute and Dawson those guys are too young and hungry for him.

I used to be a Hopkins fan, but not anymore. He's got no intention now of fighting a dangerous opponent. His last four fights have been against blown ups. And I think he could beat Dawson if he manned up and took the fight. The funny thing is Hopkins will mention the weaker link at Cruiser and Heavyweight both. Green cannot beat Adamek. Haye can't beat Arreola, James Toney, or Adamek for that matter. So who is Hopkins going after? You guessed it. The Hayemaker. I guess I would give Haye a chance against Toney only because Toney is shot.
