If Haye fails against Ruiz (highly unlikely), this is a smart move, they could do a Mexico-Puerto Rico HW clash for the first time ever in life, matching Ruiz up with Tits Arreola.

This isn't all that bad of a move by GBP. Based on the reasons above.

Shows the sad state of the HWT division. Besides I think Ruiz is a tuff fight for Haye

This is big news. Ruiz is actually a boxing superstar. He has beat greats such as Evander Holyfield and Hasim Rahman.

I was really hoping Haye would knock out Ruiz and we would finally be done with Ruiz in meaningful fights. If Ruiz loses I hope Golden Boy keeps him away from their HBO dates.

I hope Ruiz beats Haye...im not really sure how he would do it ....unless he gets by the opening barrages and then applies pressure to force Haye into a fight he is not prepared for...then it could be a short night for Johnnie...

If Ruiz wins then we are stuck with more of Ruiz eating up tv dates and there aren't many boxers I'd rather see less than Ruiz. No matter what someone thinks of Haye, atleast he brings some excitement to the division.

Ruiz is boring... but i go along the lines of substance rises over flash or excitement... im not saying Ruiz is the better fighter..what is exiciting to me is the winner who beats the other fighter...everyone says that Vitali is boring..but to me the champ is the champ regardless of their style......so if Ruiz were to beat Haye(which I doubt) than i would be more wanting to see his next fight than Haye's
