Whys everyone so down on Vegas?? I got married there in february and had the time of my life! each to there own I guess.

 

I don't know if those with a low opinion of Vegas have actually been there or its their perception.

For equal money Hatton would much rather fight at Wembly or the City of Manchester Stadium or even Old Trafford. However he knows he can't make that happen, so settles for vegas. Admittedly the Mayweather fight would always happen there.

If you have been to vegas you'll agree its not tacky at all - you expect it to be but it really isnt, its just ****in amazin!!

I am sure that is true, but as you say Mayweather can call the shots. My angle on venue size was in the context of the fight being in the USA. Hatton will be fulfilling a dream by boxing in Vegas but if he wins he will be then be in a position to fulfill other dreams such as packing a football stadium.
