    **** sake :-(

Jones seems to be in denial about the loss to Green - he just doesn't have it anymore.

    Surely it can't be PPV?

I think Bernard is heading for retirement now.

Get him out of your P4P lists, he no longer an elite fighter.

I think this shows how much Bernard is bothered by their first fight. In his mind it's the only time he's actually lost and the fact he wants to avenge it, even against a completely shot RJJ, proves he still probably loses sleep over it.

This is a no-win situation for Hopkins (and the fans for that matter). So what if he beats a guy who was just ko'd in one round by Danny Green? All a win does is somehow convince Bernard that he'll be remembered as a greater fighter.

If Roy wins on the other hand ...

I'll watch it. I think Hopkins must really consider himself 'done' now, probably thought Dawson/Adamek would be too much for him. He's probably right.

laughable they think the yanks will pay £40 for it. they will have to put a really really good undercard on the show.

at least we will get it for free on Sky.

Don't even know if I'd bother watching it

Really dislike watching RJJ, it's usually an unpleasant experience, he acted a right berk against Lacy... and in recent years, against good fighters, he looks scared to death

I'm a huge Hopkins fan, and Jones is also one of my all time favourite fighters too but....

Really don't want to see this. I don't want to see Jones box anymore full stop. A lot of people seem to be rapidly forgetting all that he did mostly between '93-'03 and with each fight he tarnishes his legacy more and more.

I can't see what either man has to gain from it (other than the $$$ obviously). Hopkins is entirely in a lose-lose situation here. And I don't think it's quite the cut and dried result most people may think either.
The thing that causes Hopkins problems more than most, especially as he's now 45 years old this month, is speed. And that's one thing Roy does have left.

If B-Hop struggles with Jones' speed and wins/loses controversially, it doesn't look good. If he totally destroys Jones, so what? He destroys a shadow who had just been annihilated by Danny Green, who at best is a B level fighter really (and I mean that with no disrespect to Green).

Jones needs to retire. Hopkins - amazingly for his age - has numerous other options. I hope this falls through.
