    Just goes to show what kind of grit Whitaker really had. Going to war with, and beating up on a known KO artist and veteran, even as a somewhat green up and comer. Hell of a fight.

    Whitaker went to war is right, he wasnt as defensive as he was known to be.
    On a sadder note, I had no idea how punch drunk Whitaker is today, his speech is all slurred now

    It was a really entertaining fight.

    Whitaker dominated him most times but Roger was gutsy.

    Those shots from Trinidad in the later part of his career didn't help him. Overall good scrap between him and Roger and a hilarious examination moment.

    :D i remember this one well and these 2 hated each other's guts. there were parts where sweet pea threw defense out the window and went toe to toe with the black mamba, who had a vicious right hand in his prime. pea wasn't runnin in this one!
