    From the front page:pacquiao Stripped

"With the confirmation that Manny Pacquiao will continue campaigning at Welterweight, the IBO will go forward and open the Junior Welterweight division which will be contested by the two leading available contenders.

We were proud and privileged to have the best pound for pound fighter in the world hold the IBO Junior Welterweight World Title."

    ................

I looked at the IBO website and the rankings are:

    1) Ricky Hatton
    2) Paulie Malignaggi

Good dig. But will Hatton bite? You know Paulie wants it, but Hatton seems to be looking for bigger fish, although, he would stand to get a belt from it, which meets one of his stated requirements for a fight. Paulie did call him out pretty loudly .........Hhmmmmm.......

Hatton questionably lost to louis collazo. He lost to floyd mayweather. slick fighters do very well against hatton and now the blueprint on how to beat him is already established. Paulie is fighting slicker and slicker each fight. He will win a lopsided UD against a 1 dimensional hatton like he should have the first time. McGirt ISNT with him so now he will win.

I haven't heard anyone stand up for hatton saying why he wont lose.

hatton would knock him out, paulie doesnt have the speed and counter boxing skills to outclass hatton like mayweather did or the power and accuracy that pacman has.

hatton would walk through his shots and just dominate the round

Paulie cant knock him out like mayweather but paulie can out box him!
The same **** that mayweather did to him! Catch him while he is coming in and move out! Thats his game!

Mayweather did that by being the first to hit every time, i dont think paulie has the hand speed or intelligence for it imo

unless paulie has improved 2 folds since the last time they fought then i only see a hatton win here

people suddenly think hatton is some b rank fighter, this is the man who has been a multiple world champ remember. he has defeated some very good boxers and only lost to perhaps 2 of the best boxers in the last 20 years. 2 potential top 10 all time greats

hatton will never go down on his ass, he is a proud man and knows he got humiliated. he will want to go out in a blaze of glory and imo paulie would be a cherry picked easy fighter for him

Would be a safe fight for Hatton because he has no chance of being dropped, but a big chance of losing by decision.

If I remember correctly, Paulie had a broken hand in an early round of the last fight and kept going?

Did anyone actually see their first fight? Not only did Hatton completely shut Paulie down, but it was a mind numbingly boring affair.

I saw it. I thought it was a shut out. Paulie got bullied and couldn't hurt Ricky.

Later I heard about the broken hand.

    Boxing fans are fickle.

I picked Hatton to beat Mallignagi. I picked Mallignagi to beat Juan Diaz.

Now just because some of you cant break fights down and think that Mallignagi havin a win over a blown up LW, he is suppose to beat a man who dominated him first time round?

Hatton is a A- level fighter on his best night. Mallignagi is a solid B level fighter on his best night. Hatton has the speed to match Mallignagi and too much strength.

A fighter gets 1 good win and hes back in the form of his life. He gets 1 bad loss and hes shot and should retire. Stupid logic around here. Boxers are built over 10-20 odd years of training, 1 fight isnt gonna change their skill level that dramatically...but some people are so basic they can only go by the last fight and base their whole skill level on that.

BTW, Hatton would maul Juan Diaz.
