    Apparently, Floyd does.

He's the one who's demanding the unprecedented tests.

That would appear to run against your position. If Maguire agreed to testing beyond what other players took, AND PASSED THE TESTS, what does that show about the value of the tests.

Marion Jones took every random test the Olympic committee wanted, and wasn't caught til she 'fessed up.

Some athletes cheat, and some don't. As your example of Maguire shows, there would still be doubt, EVEN IF MANNY TOOK THE ****IN' BLOOD TESTS.

Well if it was flawed, it's the same test used in every other fight.

So they've ALL ben flawed ?

No. The magnitude of the fight is not what sets the standard for the rules around testing.

Those rules are made by the boxing commissions. If Floyd has a problem with the stringency or ineffectiveness of the tests, he needs to take it up with the Nevada state Athletic commission.

Manny agreed that if THEY required further testing, he would abide by their decision.

But they are quite happy with the way things are.

    Bull**** !

Why wouldn't that have been the case with Floyd-Oscar ?

Or Floyd - Hatton ? Or Pac- Hatton ? or any other megafight.

    Again, bull****.

    This is basically a mind-game.

    A psychological attack..

As has been shown, NO TEST is 100 % accurate.

    It's you who is confused.

Manny walked away from an unprecedented set of demands.

Floyd walked away from the fight.

    Make that RAN.

If you had been paying attention, you'd know that Mayweather's demand for Olymic style testing was on the list of his demands from the very beggining of negotiations..........

......Freddie Roach is even on video laughing at the suggestion of that demand and being quoted that Olympic style testing would'nt be a problem for Manny.......

......surely the Pacquiao team must have figured they could laugh it off and then make team Mayweather toss that demand out as a bargaining chip in conceding the Mayweather team a different demand of theirs.

......however, upon learning that Mayweather was serious about the testing..........team Pacquiao's team started to panic with ******ed excuses about Manny being afraid of needles.......then, "I wont let my fighter be weakened by having him blood tested the day before........to 30 days before is my limit........and then when it was on 24/7 that Pacquiao had blood drawn from him 24 days before the Hatton fight, they conceded to the 24 days........
Just one excuse after the other not to get tested.

Olympic style testing was in Mayweather's demand list from day one......thats been documented all over the media........it surely was not a last minute thing to force the fight to fall through.:deal

Again, Divac, the only conclusion one can reach from your point is that all previous title fights were flawed.

Either you have a commission that sanctions the bout and decides on the rules and protocols, or you can hold the fight, unsanctioned in a field somewhere.

It's pretty ****in' obvious who wanted a change in the usual rules here.

    And it's equally obvious why.

NSAC is a lot better than the California Athletic Commission. NSAC is the best state commission.

Try not to be so bitter when you reply in Pac topics, divac. You're very transparent.. but then again expecting a JMM fan to be unbiased in a Pac topic is asking too much, I suppose...

No fighter in the history of fighting in Vegas has ever had to be subjected to such drug testing. To demand it because of an unsubstantiated suspicion that he uses PED's?.. or because his daddy Floyd Sr says so, so it must be true? It's ridiculous. Pac should've said "**** you" from the start. But he even agreed to blood testing (not required) 3 different times, most notably a blood test IMMEDIATELY after the fight and random urine testing any time. That is more than enough of proof and Floyd still can't agree to terms. Both fighters are to blame, but I don't see how some people can just put all the blame on Pac.

If I were Pac, I'd agree to the testing, even if it is ridiculous and unnecessary, because this fight is too damn big to not make. But then again I'm not a professional fighter. I don't know how withdrawing blood can affect me during training... and I also don't have some kinda irrational fear of needles like Pac...

    dude,

we all know divac is a good writer but with lots of hang ups as
far as the career of pac and jmm is concerned!
jmm looked amature when he fought pbf. but i give props to jmm for
    fighting pbf..

he very know that achievement wise, career wise, fan base wise, popularity wise jmm is way below pac. he's just envious. that's all!

they are blinded by the fact that if pbf did not demand anything new they are probably or 99.999999% training for the fight right now! some of the non-pac believers even have a different mind set. pac is guilty until proven innocent! that's how REDICULOUS or INSANE some fans are.
They believe in the integrity of mayweather senior than the official comm who is in charge of the blood testing:lol:

'Event' will likely have a 3 part episode in Boxing 24/7 overtime which may show the so-called e-mail incident.

Could be a little side show to get our attention.

I do think Mayweather avoided Pac and not vice versa. However I have a
question, why did arum say mayweather's side turned down 24 and not say instead that I, Bob Arum turned down 14 days.

Why not say, we refused 14 days? That was a misleading thing to say since Arum admits Floyd offered 14 in mediation. Arum says, but they knew we would refuse. Well, that is the whole point of mediation, to make compromises.

Secondly, what was the problem with 14 days? I don't understand that.

This is the one thing that bothers me. If, at some point in mediation, Schaeffer and crew said, ok 14 days, why did Arum and Pac refuse that?

14 days. Take the blood. That is too distracting?

24 days.....14 days....it seems ridiculous....the whole event was blown because of 10 days apart???

Does Pac feel like the blood can mess up his intense training?

The real question is, what was offered during mediation by Mayweather?

It seems to me that Mayweather is ducking. HE knows damn well that Pac isn't using in the first place. If he wanted the fight he would have jumped on it.

There is also an e-mail from a GBP official to Teddy Atlas to do a smear-campaign against Pac for reportedly 200,000 US dollars. However, that e-mail can not be verified because a. there was an NDA, or b.) it is only a third party information, meaning he heard it from someone who heard it from someone who saw the e-mail, c.) the e-mail does not exist.

ESB is turning into a gossip-mongers where the words of a convicted drug addict without an iota of evidence becomes the bible.
