Mediocrity? Zab needed a new coach and new surroundings. Unfortunately his time has passed. He still gave a lot of exciting fights to boxing. He has been the BEST fight against Mayweather in recent memory. He was mopping the floor with Cotto. So say what you want the man is still competititive with the best at the weight when we know he should be at 140. Let Manny call him out. See how that goes. So to my point you clown, a coward can laugh at a man who reaches for greatness in his moment of weakness. The coward will never put it on the line. Do something with your life then talk.
I am a fan of the man's style. He has put on a lot of good fights. I don't know the guy personally so I am not gonna judge that aspect of his life. I did get turned down for an interview with him once, which kinda pissed me off, but other than that, I can't judge.
sorry but jose louis castillo gave floyd his best fight an if he was beating his cotto so bad aglancing low blow is responsible for his undoing i dont think so as far as your personal dig at me witch i took none at u even though through computer is easy you spineless piece of **** you no nothing about me
He is a very talented fighter in my opinion but lacks something mentally. He's not everyones cup of tea, but he's not all that bad either.
Well, this was the last thread I started: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200289 So, yeah. It's not just you.
Great talent/potential, horribly immature. Poor decisions in life/in the ring cost him, obviously, but his talent is still pretty special. He could have been something pretty special, IMO, if he wasn't such a moron. And I'm not even knocking him as a person; what he does or how he acts in his personal life is his business. I'm a boxing fan, not his dad. But as that boxing fan, his actions have hurt his career, as far as being mentally unable to cope with certain pressures, and cracking under pressure.
Zab is either overrated or underrated on this board depending on who you ask. Overrated if you're of the belief that he was insanely talented and could've been a consistent top 10 P4P guy. He's underrated if you think he's a mediocre fighter who got lucky in his career. I think he's a good fighter who adds depth to any division he's in. Not a main eventer or a star but a solid fighter. His dad is awesome though. Yoel Judah is the new age Norman Stone.
i have to admit im a fan lol, i dont know ive just always been a fan of Zab, hope he can get back on track at 140. He could have been fighting urango, malignaggi, witter, ect..... the only one i think beats him there right now is Bradley and that would be an interesting fight.
With all the whining about ducking and dodging, it puzzles me who much hate guys like Zab and Toney are getting.
