Legit injury or not paul williams is not at fault for not making the pavlik fight

Its really neither fighter fault it was a injury if pwill still wanted it that bad im sure k pav will fight him i wouldnt advise p will to take that fight k pav will knock him out quick if he fight him like he fought martinez p will is a lil overated imo he walks straight in without jabbin and he swings to wide mayweather would kill him i hope mayweather takes that fight

 

Cue the deranged Pavlik fans running in with quotes from Arum subsidiaries blaming Williams for not making the fight.

Then cue the deranged Williams fanatics running in with all the times Arum balked at a fight ever as proof.

The fact of the matter is once again both sides failed to truly compromise on the issue and that leads us back to playing the "what if?" game on the middlewieght division.

 

How did Williams camp ever fail to compromise? After they had been screwed twice?


I understand your attempt at "balance" but in this instance, Williams' camp didn't do anything but spend money setting up training camps.. TWICE.

This is an absolutely unnecessary waste of time but here goes:

Williams is completely absolved of all blame for the debacles this October and December. In October, the blame falls on Team Pavlik (not necessarily Top Rank) for either over estimating Kelly's recover from Pavlik's hand surgery or putting the cart before the horse when it came to a Williams fight. In December I don't know what the **** actually happened, all I know is the fight fell apart, Williams took on a great oponent and Pavlik took on Espino. Team Williams won on all counts there.

NOW rewind back to October of 08 when Pavlik-Williams was originally in the works. Pavlik was offered a Williams fight, Pavlik took offense to fighting a WW and said the famous phrase "I'm not looking to build a resume fighting smaller fighters" and here's where some guesswork comes in. My guess is Goosen took offense to that and tried to jack up the price on Arum because he was insulted. Arum balked angrily, killed the fight before things can get going and avlik wound up "settling" for his career derailing defeat against Hopkins. This is backed up by tons of people around Team Pavlik who say that Kelly had already begun preparations for an October fight against Williams. That to me, is on Goosen and company.

If there's a P missing in any statement, it's not intentional. My p key is ****ed and not working so if I didn't ****ing SLAM on the thing it didnt come up.
