To beat floyd Mayweather you must have power.

Lets face it no one on the planet can catch floyd mayweather often, so when you do catch him you gotta make it count.

Shanes got the power, if he can just land one shot and stun floyd then he can finish him off?

Winky was a natural Jnr Middle!

Winky had height, reach, a southpaw style and strength over Shane!

How is that in the ballpark of Mosley Wright?????????

Unfortunately not, not at this stage. I'd be elated if I turned out to be wrong by some chance, though.

He can. If he looks anywhere as good as he did when he fought Margarito he has a good shot.

I don't think his skills looked all that impressive. His tactics certainly were.

I think he could do it,apart from Manny he is the only guy with the right tools at the momment,he has speed, movement and big fight experience.I think he woud give Floyd a hard time and is in with a good chance of beatng him.

mosley represents the most complete fighter floyd has ever faced with still enough hand and foot speed to force floyd to fight like he never has it a chance for floyd to finaly be in ultra exciting fight

I just want to see Floyd fight threats instead of 'selected' names and big draws.

mosley is a tricky customer and it all depends on how floyd chooses to fight this fight!

range is key and if floyd can keep him at a distance and just pick him off, its in the bag!!

but when he does, everyone will say ''mosley was old and thats why floyd fought him. why cant floyd fight a real challenger?''

He does, but its a tall order.

I see Mayweather's jab, movement and footwork giving Mosley a lot of problems. However Mayweather doesn't move as much as he used to. At 147, he stands more flatfooted than he did at the lower weights.

Also, Mosley is bigger, stronger, just as fast (in my opinion faster) and the most skilled fighter Floyd has fought.....ever. Forget that, he's the best fighter Floyd has ever fought period. Of course Mosley has what it takes.

Its unbelievable some think Floyd is going to whitewash Mosley. Mosley is just too good, its not going to happen in my opinion.

The thing is, with Mosley he (along with Manny) has the ability to force Floyd to fight. At some point Floyd will have to stand and trade to get Mosley's respect. I see Mosley taking the later rounds

Another intangible witch is huge is that Mosley finally has a reliable corner. Something that has been a big issue his entire career. Nazim Richardson is one of the best trainers in the game and Mosley will actually have a legitimate gameplan(s) to execute.

If Mosley wasn't with Richardson I'd say Floyd all the way actually. Because Floyd has about 10 different ways of fighting, he's just so smart/technical and versatile. Richardson will help Shane fight against those 10 different ways Floyd can fight. He'll have many different gamplans for Shane to execute against Floyd.

    Interesting fight, I cant wait.

Probably not, but if Mosley is somehow able to exert himself in age-defying fashion he might be able to shift the outcome in his favor with aggression and activity. It's certainly not impossible Mosley could prevail.

Margarito was made to order for Shane. Margarito is slow as molassis. Fighting Mayweather is a real step up in class and I'm sure Shane knows it.

If Mosely can display speed he has chance to beat Mayweather, but I just don't think he is a fast as he used to be. After watching Cotto outbox Mosely, I just don't think he can get it done against a supreme boxer like Mayweather.

heres the thing. shane is pushing 40 and has been inactive of late. however if old Oscar can keep it close i think shane will do better.

we will all be happy if pbf take this challenge instead of the easier road.
