He's English but he's from Nottingham, therefore he is red dog scum and can't be as good as you say.

He is a very good fighter and great at what he does. Obviousl in a boxing ring he would be very poor but in a cage or whatever other ring he fights in he can fight the best so long as the fight stays standing up. Followed his career for awhile and the recent UFC win was great, hopefully he gets a payday.

He's a good striker with devastating hands.

He's got Koscheck up next and Koscheck just ruined the gravy train for one prospect!

I'm pretty sure that a couple of years ago, Paul Daley actually applied for a Pro boxing license but the BBBoC turned him down.

Their reasoning was something along the lines of MMA not having an official sanctioning body in this country and so they considered his MMA fights to be unlicensed which is apparently enough of a reason to turn down an application.

  11. I can't see vids in work, Daley's the black kid from Notts in the last UFC is he not? I've caught his last 2 or 3 fights.

The lad's got some heavy hands. Great to watch.

Does anybody here know a bit about him? Has he improved alot as I noticed he'd lost 4 or 5 times before, but was definitely being hyped as the next big thing by Joe Rogan etc. How's his chin?

His chin is fine, he's never been knocked out.
It's his ground game that's his weakness as most of his losses have come via submission.

As for his losses, he's lost 8 times i believe, a couple of those were very early on in his career.
Similar to Dan Hardy, they sought out tough fights against tough foreign opponents before they signed with the UFC.
The result is their records don't look so impressive, but the experience they have gained from those fights should prove invaluable

I like the way people saying MMA is for ***s !! ?

An MMA fighter would rip the **** out of most boxers ...

Unless you just glued to ya TV all ya life and have never had a fight in your whole life(which means its expected that your ignorant) you cant really be calling MMA fighters ***s......

A street fight is basically what happens in MMA......

    Paul Daleys a good fighter....

    Fighting is Fighting !!

Boxing and MMA is the same essence !!

Its like two religions, There meanings are the same, just two different ways of explaining them ...

As a kid, you ain't naturally born a world class boxer, you born a scrapper who'll roll around on the floor and do what ever you can to win !!

Boxing is built into you from a young age...
