Mosley's right hand is a thing of beauty. He can land it in all different forms, from all different angles. He's incredibly accurate with it. It's quick, it's powerful and he can lead with it or mix it into combos. He's in the top 5. Hearns is number one, though. Has to be after what his right hand did to Duran. Think probably Wladamir, Arguello and maybe Lewis or Tszu.

the topic was STRAIGHT RIGHT HANDS. i haven't been a fan of boxing but for a few years, but i imagine the list would look like:

    Hearns
    Hopkins
    Mayweather
    Tsyzu
and i don't know a fifth. mosley's right hand is great, but it usually comes as a hook, not a straight.

These are not necessarily the best straight hands of the last whatever years as asked in the thread (it would be hard to come up with such a list). This is in no particular order either. Here are some straight hands I was very impressed with.
Randall Bailey (his is like a gun shot)
    Tommy Hearns
    Kelly Pavlik
    Alexis Arguello
Mayweather has a pretty nice one especially because of how he uses it.
I am sure there are a lot more.

    W. Klitschko is also worth mentioning since it is his only punch besides the Jab and he knocks people out.

Best list yet. KT should get a mentioned but I love the inclusion of Randall Bailey. I don't know where he gets that gift cause he seems to have few others but he really has the most discusting right hands I have ever seen.

Erik Morales had an excellent straight right hand. Although, he is probably best known for his over-hand right. This proved to be pretty devastating to his opponents in the Super Bantamweight division.

o_money you are right on the money. It is disgusting indeed. I got scared a few times after seeing that right hand land.

Vitali and Vlad. Ask Tony Tubbs about Vitali's right hand when he used to spar him years ago in Germany.
