Vasyl Lomachenko! Will Somebody sign this Kid up Already!!

I totally agree with the Boystov comment. Though Fritz Sdunek, an excellent tactician who trains Vitali, a much more offensive minded fighter than you'd expect from a Germany-trained pro, Fritz - truly a great coach who's unfortunetly going to (semi)retirement due to health issues - just doesn't match Boystov's style, nor would match Vasyl's. Maybe this unfortunate change in the corner could bring Denis to a trainer favoring aggression? Don't know.

IMO K2 would be the perfect promoter for Lomachenko. The Brothers have great connections in the Ukraine, Europe (not just Germany) and in the US, and given the ratings and packed arenas Germany produces lately, in my view the these are the international markets Vasyl should look for, pretty much like the K's themselves. Obviously, learning fluent German and English wouldn't hurt his chances.

 

You are right! Of course I dont know it for sure! Pure speculation on my part it is!

However,the Klitschko brothers are not known for being eager on spending big bucks on the undercard fights.
His boys Banks and Ustinov frequently fight on their undercards in front of a sold out arena.Sounds good,but none of their fights has been shown in full length on German tv.
Both Ustinov and Banks are nobodies in one of the most important fight markets out there despite their frequent appearance on the Klitschko undercards there.

Lomachenko is a smart guy. A big star in the Ukraine. I dont know any Ukranian who is interested in sport who hasnt heard his name yet.

The Klitschkos are living legends on their native soil in the Ukraine,and rightfully so.
The Klitschkos are an option due to their God like status in the Ukraine.You are right!
However,from a businessman's point of view I would strongly recommend him to either turn pro with GErman promoter Sauerland or with one of the big American promoters who can provide tv expsosure.

 

He would be something special in the professional ranks. Hopefully, he will come Stateside and get it started.

Anyways good points. I imagine though that if they got Vasyl they'd treat him a little different than Ustinov. He'd probably be their biggest potential superstar fighter, the type of guy you can build an entire company around. So i imagine that while what you say is true that things for Vasyl would be different

 

He totally outclassed Sergei Vodopyanov, 12-1, earlier this year the world chamionships and that was even more impressive than anyone he beat in the Olympics.

Lomachenko's footwork is beautiful to watch. Actually damn near everything he does is great to watch.

This is his Gold medal match from the 08 Olympics. 1st round stoppage. The guy he beats, Djelkhir, has since turned pro and is 4-0. **** he lays a beating on this guy lol

His fight vs Selimov is probably my favorite of his from the Olympics.

 

He's not just interesting, he is one of the best amateurs of all time. May be the best. His amateur record is 300 wins agains 1 loss. The loss came at Chicago 2007 World Championship final and then he brutally revenged it at the opening fight at 2008 Beijing Olimpics.
He's current Olimpic, World and European champion. To have that kind of dominance is unheard of.
The only amateur career record that's somewhat comparable that I could find
belongs to Nino Benvenuti: 120-1, including Olimpic Medal.
