who's the best of the great white hopes? In no particular order....

    Rocky Maricano
    Jack Dempsey
    Gerry Cooney
    Tommy Morrison
    The Klitschko brothers
    Andrew Golota

are some ideas to get you started. Head to head remember, I mean I know marciano is an ATG and everythin but does anyone SANE think that he'd have lasted against 6ft8 250lbs guys like Klitschko? I dunno, you lot pick that mess apart.

Also, I dont intend this to be a hotbed for racial bigotry or anything, there's no alterior motives behind this, so leave all the racist **** at the door before posting.

You're probably right. I think the order is largely interchangeable after the top three (at least as I see it).

As in all matters comparing different eras, it is difficult to form a fair means of comparison that everyone agrees on.

Rumsfeld, Box rec has Jack Sharkey at #9 all time, so that's a big miss. Canadian Tommy Burns at #20 all time, and Primo Carnera at #23 all time. All missing on your list.

ummm... Valuev isn't even human first of all. Second of all he is a complete and utter sideshow act. WORTHLESS. He has barely a flicker of hope in this era of HW lameness. Never ever ever mention Valuev as great for anything except ridicule and punchlines.

    1 Marciano
    2 Schmeling
    3 W Klitschko/V Klitschko
4 Rest who cares. Dempsey, Tunney are to far away to rate them properly.

Absolutely horrible that some people rank Gerry Cooney, GERRY COONEY, WHAT THE FUKC above ATG´s like Schmeling, who was the only one on the planet, beating the **** out of the greatest HW ever in his almost prime!!!
