So, you don't have the mental capacity to understand my comment and say I make you look dumb. That is ****ing great. If you had an education you would know numbers don't lie. Last night Gamboa fought a fighter at least 10 pounds lighter than him. And his attutide was different. Even the reports of the weight in ceremony described Mtagwa as looking depressed and without energy.
And I am not saying Gamboa isn't good. The guy is great and after last night interview I became a fan. I am just analyzing the facts. Of course I don't expect you to understand that. You, Benny Blanco from the bronx! What a joke!!

No man, Is not that. Just go take a look at Mtagwa's face for both ocassions. This is not about Lopez or Gamboa. Just go and take a look. Mtagwa walked to the ring looking already defeated. It was very, very weird. The result was what I expected. I knew Gamboa was going to knock him out. But I expected to see Mtagwa the warrior, not the defeated man that walked to the ring. That was very surprising.

As for Lopez, the potential is there. They need to correct his mistakes. Gamboa has too much ring experience and will not let those mistakes pass. He tend to get sloppy at times and the thing he has about fixing his pants needs to stop. They need to work on some more head movement and angles as well. Lopez has a good chance, but he has work to do.

Mtagwa CHOSE to come to the weigh-in well below the limit and being that you take reports as fact here is what Mtagwa said before the Gamboa fight.....

“The training is good. This time I am ready. Last time (for Lopez) I only had two or three weeks to train because I hurt my ankle. I didn’t run as much. This time, I run every day. I am ready for this one,” said Mtagwa.

So he said he came to this fight in better shape than the Lopez fight, so please don't go around discrediting Gamboa performance just because Lopez looked like **** against Mtagwa.

I'm a huge fan of Gamboa since his amateur days and I don't want to ruin the party, but I think we shouldn't get carried away too much with this victory over a guy with a 26-11 journeyman record.

No disrespect to Mtagwa though, he's a tough warrior.

In his next fight I'd like to see Gamboa in there with a guy like Jorge Solis, Rocky Juarez, Mario Santiago, and/or Ponce De Leon.

Did you and check out the vids?? No you didn't. I am not taking any credit away from Gamboa. the fight went just as I expected. I knew he was going to KO early. I am just surprised by Mtagwa completely different attitude. You don't need to take my word. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I DON'T WANT YOU TO TAKE MY WORD!!!! I want you to check it out by YOURSELF. That way you can give me your opinion of what you are seeing. But you are getting defensive without even trying to see it by yourself.

It's not good, but it's still better than any hip hop or gangsta rap song ever recorded.

Agree. Gamboa is very good. But the bottom line cold facts are:
#1. Last night Lopez went up in weight and got a KO against a 126lbs champion.
#2. Gamboa KTFO a guy who, in the best night of his carreer was a 122lbs contender.

I do think Gamboa could have defeated Juarez or John last night. I just don't see the reason why a 126lbs champion like Gamboa needed to fight a guy who was coming from losing at 122lbs. Some guys don't like when I say this, but those are facts!!!!!:deal

:?Are you kidding me? The reason Gamboa fought Mtagwa was to prove that he was better than Lopez. He could have matched up against any other featherweight in the top 10 and whipped their ass. But because Bob Arum has a **** up his butt, he put Gamboa in a fight against the same guy to hype a potential Juanma-Gamboa fight. Gamboa passed the test with flying colors, and there are no excuses that can be made to say that Lopez is better.

Mtagwa was in much better shape than in his fight against Lopez, and Gamboa still knocked his ass out.

I understand that you are like this: :scaredas: when it comes to thinking about Lopez getting smacked by Gamboa, but please, lets be real here.

#1. You giving me the reason when you are saying Arum has a **** up his butt. There was not reason to make this fight. Everybody already knew Gamboa is a very strong 126 pounder. So, what did he proved agains a 122lbs contender?
#2. I am not saying Lopez can beat him. At most, I say he has a chance. But he still have work to do. And I say it again: Gamboa is the most experience fighter of the two. And I will add: Probably also has the better corner.

You people get confused with me analyzing the facts of last night fight and being a huthugger. I really like this kid Gamboa. I am a Lopez fan, but I will not be upset if Gamboa beats him. I like the guy. He is disciplined a very down to earth. He doesn't have a big mouth and sounds like a very smart man. He could be a good example for young kids.
