You could say that about any fighter, if Joe Frazier would not have been blinded he could have beaten him in all 3 fights.

I agree Squire mate! "Peak" Ali is the only version that beats Larry (But I believe that "Peak" Ali would have defeated any heavyweight in history)

It is possible that had Ali been active during his "Peak" years Which were undoubtedly when he had his license revoked) he may not have fought Larry.

The Holmes-vs-Ali fight is imo the most tragic (Non-fatal) bout in boxing history!

There were so many good to great heavies around in Ali's era that a bad night against someone, sometime, seems inevitable.

Ali had the type of mentality where he had to be beaten out of the sport. Many fighters do, especially champions.

No one could touch Ali when he was wrongly banned for 3 1/2 years. He was in his prime NO ONE could live with him. I really shows how great he was when he returned from exile only 80% of the fighter he was before the ban YET still DOMINATED THE hw SCENE

Ali is ,was & Always will be THE GREATEST

Absolute BULL****!!!! Ali had the courage to stand up for his beliefs, he could have done like Joe Louis in WWII and just been used for propaganda. Ali stayed in the US and took his punishment. He could have done what a man named William Jefferson Clinton did and run away to England to avoid the draft. Clintons punishment was they made him President Of the USA ROFL
