Amir just said on some cooking show in England that Hatton should retire.....why does he keep waffling on his opponent?
Anyone considering Tszyu the best Junior Welterweight ever was just a really big fan. The reign he had was strong but his resume is lacking and it could not compare to say Aaron Pryor. Another part of the Tszyu fight with low blows was when Kostya knocked Hatton down with a clean body shot and it was ruled a low blow. Just admitt it man the ref was never going to allow Hatton to walk out that ring without a title.
I gon't get how people are saying Hatton is shot, he lost to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, there's no shame in that, show me a fighter at 140 or 147 who wouldn't lose to those two. Hs performance against Malignaggi wasn't the performance of a man who is shot. He is looking incredibly out of shape but maybe he can get back to full fitness. I don't think we should be writing him off so soon.
It will depend on how Hatton is after his lay off, if he can get back to 75% what he was he will be too much for Khan who is getting massively overhyped because he's with Roach.
Oh please your claiming that Tszyu knocked Hatton down in that fight?? and that the claim Tszyu was the best LW ever is just a biased fans opinion?? Seems the basis for alot of your claims are lacking and the real problem is startin to reveal itself. you just dont like Ricky Hatton.
Besides, who the **** has Amir Khan beat anyway? Hatton got sparked by manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather. Khan got knocked out by Bredies ****in Prescott! Who the **** is that?!
He only beat old man Barrera because the ref wouldn't stop the fight before the 5th round, even though he could hardly see.
Yeah definatly, Hattons not shot but he's not in his prime anymore, Khan's probly too much for Hatton now BUT if Hattons even 30% of what he used to be then he sparks Khan IMO people forget on here what rickys acomplished in his carrer and its far more than Khan could ever do 1.All domestic and European fighters bar Witter beaten 2.Beat Tszyu to retirement to win the IBF belt 3.Beat 4 REIGNING world champions across 2 weights back to back (Tszyu, Maussa, Collazo, Urango) 4.Also Ko'd Castillio and Malignaggi 5.Only lost to the two best p4p fighters in their prime Khan will never do that IMO but if Ricky has diminished as much as i fear he has then i think Khan might beat the shell of Ricky
Yea well put mate, Puts it into perspective. Hattons carried on achieving but fell at the final hurdle. You could say its not exactly everest to climb in Khans case but only way to better it is to be pound for pound number 1!
Hope its in Manchester so I can go If the same Hatton that turned up against Paulie turns up then I think Hatton will take it
Kahn bounces in and out of range all night letting his combinations go and Ricky cant catch up with him gets ragged gets wild losses his head losses his game plan, starts swinging for the feces,Kanh ducks unde r rolls right and walks him onto a few more shots. Think it might be a copy of the Manny vs Oscar fight with Ricky a stationery ponderous target who may quit on his stool when the harsh reality dawns on him that he aint got it any longer. Im actually a long time Hatton fan but Im worried, when your man looks shaken to his boot laces with every shot its not a great sign.
