If Pac can stop Clottey then no, if that fight goes to points then I think Mayweather could move ahead.

This is just plain stupid. Marquez beat his ass when both were exceptionally close fights where you could easily have Pac winning. You sir are an idiot. Not just that but in the first fight that was scored a draw the judge admitetd to making a mistake in JMM's favor. She scored a round 10-8 when the standard way of scoring the round should be 10-6. Given she scored the fight a tie if it wasn't for that mistake both fights would have been scored a split decision for Pac. I mean honestly how can you say that Pac got his ass beat in those fights?

I still say even then its iffy. I mean if Pac barely wins on points then maybe, but if he wins like 8+ rounds no way. Also it depends on how Mayweather beats Mosley I mean again are we talking a close fight or a dominant performance.

If Mayweather gives a dominant performance and Pac doesn't then yeah I might see giving P4P #1 to Mayweather but that is the only way.

You talking about the guy who lost to Margo and Clottey and had a make believe title belt for beating Jennings?

Balcquiao's welterweight title comes from a vacant title for the Cotto Jennings fight:-((

Money May has the linear welterweight championship and is undefeated.

If Floyd takes fights with 4 real fighters out there in the division then......nah no chance Floyd is going to take a fight unless its going to make $$$$$s against someone he knows he can beat to keep his "legacy" alive.

:patsch This isn't how it works. You're as bad as Ricky Hatton thinking he'd become number 1 P4P if he beat Pacquaio.

In answer to the question, I would say no. He'd be very close behind him but not quite there. Pacquaio would have Clottey and Cotto in his last two fights. Floyd would have Mosley and JMM. It depends how far into the past you go. You could say Floyd beat better versions of Hatton and De La Hoya, but you could also say Pacquaio beat the lesser versions more impressively.

How far back do they go when judging P4P rankings does anyone know? 1 year or 3 years or longer...?:huh

cotto has fought mosley, margo, clottey and pac at welter. floyd fought baldomir and jmm. big difference of opponents. i'm sure that if cotto fought floyd's level of opponents, he would still be undefeated at the weight.

i can't even fathom how some of you floyd fans think. floyd is the current #1 p4p? :patsch
