I'm going to play Devil's advocate here, even though as a boxing fan, I would have Floyd choose Mosley. If you were Floyd, you are looking forward to a $40 million payday with Pacman sometime in the future. To juice up the fight, you want to look sensational in your next fight, so it would ramp up the demand for Floyd-Pacman. But being that you're a businessman first and fighter second, you want maximum return with minimum risk like any sensible businessman. Mosley? High risk, medium return. Can't look good against him, may jeopardize the fight with Pacman, not enough money. Malignaggi? No, he only has the East Coast support, not enough money. Berto? He's in Haiti and a bit more dangerous than Malignaggi. Margarito? Possible but he's dangerous and worse, he's with Arum. Arum bad. Judah? Nah, need him for sparring for the Pacman fight. Matthew Hatton? Low risk, can hype as a grudge match, maximum return. BINGO!
I would fight JuanMa because he is an undefeated fighter (so obviously he is P4P one of the best), a Featherweight, and has a huge fan base. Calm down Floyd fans don't have a ****ing cow I'm joking. I would fight Sugar Shane Mosley.
If he fights M. Hatton in England he would make so big money, but Pac is the fight everyone wants to see, of course.
Cintron is not really a good choice compared to Hatton: medium risk, medium return, unlikely to fuel more demand for Floyd-Pacman.
