about time. maybe godfrey has a puncher's chance. but godfrey does not seem to have the conditioning or the fitness.

i hope cunningham wins, then defends vs danny green in australia. what a fight that would be. that's where the only money is, in australia, at cruiserweight right now.

No TV for this one. Once again tv skipping on the actioned packed Cruisers. You think they'll ever get it? Cunn is training in Big Bear for 2 months for this one. Look for a top shaped USS!

 

They can give a good payday for Roy Jones jr., but there's a question if they pay for anynomous Cunningham ? Damn, I don't understand why Americans can't appreciate Steve .. he's a very exciting fighter and it's pleasure to watch him in the ring, also is worth of bigger cash and interest of TV stations, but actually he's out of range... To be honest, probably he's more popular in Poland than in the US...

USS by UD, glad to see he's gotta fight, hopefully he'll keep busy this year, win that ibf strap, unify, would love to see him fight Green or Flores or anyone. He's a likable guy that's fought in some exciting bouts (Huck, Adamek) is a truly likable and great guy, heck even him vs Hopkins or Dawson I think would be great.

 

i wonder if godfrey can sort out his style, sort out his conditioning, and finally deliver? once upon a time he looked a bit talent. he has the punch, and cunningham can be hurt, so who knows? (admittedly cunningham has good recovery and fitness, which helps).

cunningham is a very good fighter. surely cunningham has seen better days, though? he's fought lots of world class fighters, rothmann, jones, braithwaite, wlod twice, kelvin davis...the loss to adamek was punishing.

is there a chance for godfrey? i wouln't mind seeing a new face come through. it's possile that cunningham - an effective fighter - doesn't really make for good fights vs anyone apart from adamek. a fresh face who can punch, and can get the interest of TV back in the cruisers would be positive.

clearly, it's a lot to ask of godfrey, but...
