Bring it on then! Holyfield will not retire voluntarily so let Wlad do the job for him.

It's 2 am so forgive me if this sounds a bit ******ed, but I was thinking about Holyfield and how he's on a path towards terrible health problems.. and I think that if he was involved in a car accident and lost his left hand, it would probably be a positive thing, because it would force him to retire and save his health. But knowing how insane he is at trying to prove people wrong, he probably still wouldn't retire.

Emmanuel Steward always mentions how big Holyfield's ego is when talking about him as a person and I always thought that was interesting. I really wouldn't be shocked to see him fighting at 50 years old still trying to prove people wrong. If Ibragimov did what he was supposed to and pushed to knock him out, maybe Evander would think about retiring. But the way Ibragimov fought him, Holyfield in his mind probably thinks he could have won the match if he just did things differently.

Your post doesn´t sound ******ed to me. I wouldn´t wish that Holyfield lost any hands, though - but I don´t think you are wishing that for him either. I´ll just say that you are wrong about one thing - Holy wouldn´t retire even if Ibragimov had knocked him out!

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I get angry and sad thinking about seeing him in a few years looking like Joe Louis when he was old. A legend and a good person that just has too big of an ego to quit.

I remember Holyfield saying his God is stronger than Tyson's so he knew he'd win. Whatever gives you that drive I guess.

As for Wlad-Holyfield...sure ****ing hope not.

    I am sick of Holyfield.

    Bring it on.

He would probably survive, but a crushing knockout could stop his career.

This fight won't happen, but if it did, I'm jumping on the Wlad haters bandwagon.

Joe Louis came back after being champ for 11 and 1/2 years. He needed the money. Even he only lost 2 fights in his comeback. One to
Ezzard Charles, and then to Marciano. He had enough sense to quit after the Marciano fight. He could of stayed on the B circuit and made money, but he did not.

I really hope this fight doesn't happen. Wlad is such a gifted offensive fighter that he could hurt Holyfield really really bad. And Holyfield is too brave to no when too stop. PLEASE DON"T LET THIS FIGHT HAPPEN!

Holyfield seems determined to go the way of Jerry Quarry and Greg Page. :verysad
