i've been saying this before, arum likes to keep all the money for himself. whether pac wins or loses to clottey, and when cotto does win that title at 154, arum will put them together for a rematch, and ppl would pay to see that imo cuz its for a title at a diff weight, 3 world division champ cotto and pac attempting a title for a 8th div and the easiest path at that

Yep, Pac-Cotto rematch at 150-154 makes alot of sense. For Pac if he wins it will take away haters claims Cotto was drained at 145. It will also give him a chance at another title in yet another division against a more credible opponent than Yuri Foreman. For Cotto it will give him a chance at redemption at a weight he will be more comfortable at than Pac. First fight was great, and they are two top rank fighters so Arum will have no hesistation in making it. I wouldn't mind it at all.

I think it would be a different fight...cotto wouldn't have to worry about losing weight...I think cotto has a good chance to win...there is a reason why pacman wanted cotto to come in at 145 pounds...pacman new the weight lost could have an effect on cotto

    Good point.

Pac has said he didn't want to fight Foreman as he was concerned about his height, so Top Rank sends Cotto up to beat Foreman giving Pac an easier route to another title in a higher weight division.

The thing about Cotto, both of his losses are types that ruin any fighters career esp. mentally. The good thing is both his loses have now come in questions in the boxing public. Was Margarito loaded and was Cotto fighting at 145 a disadvantage for him from the get go and Manny perhaps using steroids? We will never know.

i think if pac wants to move up and get a new title in a new weight class, and cotto looks like he has learned a lot from his new trainer i dont see why not.

Would love to see Cotto get anther crack at PAC....But I don't think Cotto would have success in beating him...maybe do a little better b/c there is PLENTY of room for improvement from the initial fight. Cotto wasn't weight drained and PAC isn't on roids. so the chances of the the outcome being different is slim to none although I do feel Cotto could have a better game plan.
