training doesn't keep you as sharp as the ring but it makes a big difference for sure between not training at all

That's nice to hear Shane. This fight gonna bring out the best in Mayweather yet again.

good. people should stop pointing to shane's inactivity. shane had 2 fights in the last 2 years and mayweather had only 1

Mayweather probably needed the time off, let his hands heel etc.

Whereas Shane - at his age - probably needs to stay as sharp
as possible, any moments of rust and he will be caught out.

Also, the guys Mosely fought are nothing like Mayweather or Pac
wouldve been - especially in quickness of the feet, so staying as
active as possible, wouldve helped Mosely more.

Time will tell, I dont think Mosely wins anyway, Im one who does
think that Mosely will feel his age in this fight.

im confused, because if mosley feels his age and doesn't show signs of sugar, ala mayorga, he's going to be outboxed all night long and lose. if brother nazim gives him a solid gameplan and mosley is focused and sharp, mayweather will be going home with his 0 in the loss column no longer intact

inactivity plus age is not a good combination for mosley. time is running out for him and he must muster all he had for this 1 fight.

I'm more worried about his age then his time off... at 38 he's near the end of his career (not everybody is a b-hop) and could break him up.

Still routing for him though! :bbb

Dude stays in good shape. Anyone else, I'd be a little concerned, and yes, it's important for him to stay active, but he's used to fighting only 1-2x a year anyway.

    Bring it on baby!

what kind of stupid logic is that?

    mayweather fought recently, mosley hasn't.

Shane isnt an old 38 by any stretch of the imagination. Other than the Forrest SSM 1 shane has never truly suffered any true mileage.

When Mayweather outboxes Mosley and makes him look flatfooted, there will be all kinds of excuses for it.
