Yes i think he's more popular than Haye. That doesn't change the fact Adamek is overrated on here.

His light heavyweight reign was average at best, his best win at cruiserweight was a lucky/controversial decision. I agree he's exciting to watch but his defence, boxing ability and past performances show to me he's not has good as what people make him out to be. Btw what makes you think he'll become heavyweight champ? what indicators?

    Its your opinion, I disagree.

He is fast, tough powerful fighter who is determined to be a 3rd division champion. If Haye became a HW champion, why not Adamek. Adamek has better chin than Haye and I think if they met in the ring, chins would decide.

If not Haye, then I give him a chance against Wladimir. I think that Adamek's style is very uncomfortable for Wlad, althought Wladimir is much bigger. If Adamek gets close enough, he may hurt Wlad.

The 3rd champion - Vitali is the toughest one, but he is quite old. If he retires then WBC title will be vacant.

Sooner or later Adamek will be HW champion

i wouldn't say that his win over cunn was controversial (3-0 kd's!) and which "past performances" youre talking about? i respect your point of view but i just think he's as good as his reputation:good

One more thing. If you watch Adamek in the ring you may see how smart he is there. Very disciplined fighter, who is fast for 12 rounds, never run out of a gas in the end of a fight.

Despite being 33yo Adamek is still improving. He is not the same fighter who he used to be at LHW and CW. Now when he is fighting at HW, people are starting to understand how hard was it for him to make 175 limit and that influnced his performance against Dawson a lot.

Even when he fought Cunningham, the fight was postponed 2 times so he wasnt prepared on 100%, but won it and became 2nd div champ.

Right, just become i'm from England doesn't mean i'm a Haye fan.....or even like him.
Adamek's toughness and power hasn't been tested at heavyweight yet so predictions of him beating a belt holder atm are silly. Has far as i'm concerned he hasn't fought at heavyweight yet bcos Golota was shot to ****.

"Even when he fought Cunningham, the fight was postponed 2 times so he wasnt prepared on 100%, but won it and became 2nd div champ."

Cunningham hadn't fought for a year btw and Adamek had a tune up a few months before the fight, Cunningham fought stupid and tried to make it a brawl and almost won even when fighting to Adameks strenghs.

I'm not arguing he's not exciting/entertaining etc, he's very good to watch.
Maybe if he beats a top heavyweight i will change my views.
