I made a post a few years ago, prior to khan getting knocked out and joining roach, i felt he would get a belt but wouldnt do as well as hatton or hamed.

So far his meet my expectations, if he beats marquez, i think he,ll proberly exceed them, coz i always saw him as a bruno type of champion, even thou he managed to defend his title once, Salita was pretty built up.

How far do you think he can go? does it all come down to the chin factor?

if he does beat marquez whos ranked no5 p4p, where does that put khan?

When he first started i saw that he had Warren as his promoter and thought he'd win a Lightweight Version of world title. He never did that but done it at higher weigh against a decent fighter. I've never been sold on him and still really ain't but yes he's exceeded my expectations. The life and death struggles i didn't think he had stomach for he has won he shown me he's bit more then a pampered hyped Olympian so fair play to lad.

He probably has in truth. It's easy to not see the woods for the trees sometimes, but when you take a step back and glance over his record and factor in his age he's done well. He's got himself some recognition world wide, he's already got a big fanbase at home to fall back on, and he's got a title belt. He hasn't faced the best, that could be the next step judging by his choices. He's laid a good foundation for his career - now it remains to be seen if he becomes an established world class fighter or whether hes another talented fighter that shines brightly but not for long.

Yeah I think he has exceeded my expectations because I really cant see what more Khan could have done at this stage of his career. He has won a world title, defended it once and now he has got the balls to leave his long time promoter and go to America, he deserves a big pat on the back in my opinion.

Certainly exceeded my expectations, I think hes in an amazing position in his career after 23 fights and at just 23 years old. When you add in the fact he was brutally koed in his first ppv 18 months ago then it makes his acheivements so far that much more impressive.

If he were to take out JMM and Maidana in the next year then I feel Khan will have an extraordinary career, even with his **** chin.

Yeah he has exceeded my expectations.

Big head with a glass jaw...................waiting to get found out again.

But he has always had talent.

Plus he has the right mangement around him pampering to his every needs. Agents. Fincial adivsors. PR excetives. Nutrionists. Accoutants. Quality sparring. Trainng equipment.

Basically he has been given every top class resource to suceed. He has never had to build himself up he has had the golden path.

But he still done well to win the WBA title - because I thought he was gonna get exposed.

But he ran like a thief all night and preserved his glass chin - so credit to him.
