Yes, apparently he's so scared of the beating he's going to get off Mosley that he wants to fight him again after.atsch
its funny ive heard pac fans....talk about how giving in to the testing would let floyd gain the edge in "psychological warfare"....how manny wrangled an extra 1 percent in the purse with hatton...how he had to do it to show he was the top dog and gain that "psychological edge"......and they are the same people that think there is a ***** in floyds armor because of a fairly standard clause that he wants with shane...lol
For real....these are simple contract terms....Didn't JLC excercise a rematch clause when he fought Floyd?
unlike pac whose own trainer admitted mosley was just to good for pac to fight, mayweather is actually fighting someone with a style that can beat him, pac has been cherry picking slow plodding flat footed fighters, and guys with nothing left in the tank for years, david diaz( slow flat footed plodder), oscar dela hoya ( weight drained nothing left in tank), cotto ( ruined by margo and is the quintessential flat footed plodder) and now clottey a less active mirror image of cotto, some on guys wisen up get over your fascination with this guy he is all smoke and mirrors a politician through and through playing you guys so hard.
It's really just common procedure. It guarantees that there's a rematch if Floyd loses. Most "big match fights" have a similar clause in it. It's to guarantee that there will be no promotional quibbles/issues when it comes to granting a rematch.
Floyd is not a punk because of a rematch clause, it's so common these days... But look at Haye being called a ducking *****, instead of some blame going the Klitschkos way when Haye turned down the Vitali fight with a rematch clause, and a clause to fight Wladimir if he won again... Everybody uses it these days, i'm saying: Let the fists in the ring do the talking... If you're beaten decisevely in the ring, there is no reason for a rematch, it's like that... And if it gets made anyway, well the fans will just stay away... You need a reason to make a rematch, not just that you weren't good enough the first time. If Shane whups Floyd, then that's that, plain and simple. Floyd's been ducking this guy for years, so why face him again after a defeat... Not that it's gonna happen, who catches Floyd cleanly on the chin? And somebody clearly has his back when it comes to scoring... That perfect record was broken when he met Castillo the first time, so no reason to work up a sweat over this subject I would say.
I believe Floyd firmly thinks he will beat Mosley but he also knows that it wont be easy and anything can happen in boxing. Besides if Mosley wins he will gladly give Floyd a rematch if he cant get a fight with Pac. I doubt that Mosley could get a fight with Pac because lately Pac has only been fighting people that are easy to hit.
