Both fighters are very good mates.

Alexander takes this one, I believe that he is too slick.

I think Bradley will achieve great things - through a hell of
a work ethic - I think Bradley will be a very good fighter.

But, I think Alexander is the ****..

Time will tell, id love this fight to eventuate and Id love to
see someone frame a market for this fight, Id load up on
    Alexander by UD.

I like Alexander, but I like Bradley better. With experience, I think Alexander can be better than Bradley (he has more raw tools I think), but Bradley has a lot of intangibles that I really love - works hard to improve, studies film on his opponents (I'm always shocked by how few fighters actually do this), adds facets to his game every fight.

While I guess Alexander beat Witter more convincingly than did Bradley (at least on the cards; I had the fight pretty close when Witter quit), Bradley's improved a ton since then. Alexander got some catching up to do.

Bradley has fought nothing but high risk-low reward guys (Witter, Holt, Campbell, Peterson) so it's ridiculous to say that he's ducking anybody.

Tim Bradley is just too strong and experienced but Devon would put up a good fight. Bradley by close but UD

Everybody keep in mind that Devon looked great in his last fight against Junior Witter. But real boxing fans know that Witter has been on the decline a long time and is basically shot at this point, he was already going down when Tim Bradley took his belt in his backyard almost 2 years ago. Devon Alexander will find out very quickly that fighting Tim Bradley is nothing like fighting Junior Witter was.

couldn't say it better myself man. He's made a living fighting the guys that nobody else wants to, and now that he's #1 the only guy at 140 who's interested in fighting him is Devon Alexander??? ridiculous.

Bradley is only 26 years old. He has plenty of time and relatively little millege on him. This is the time for him to sharpen his skills and build up his accomplishments. Eventually, he'll get the big fight. If he can win once he gets his opportunity against a big name, then he can start handpicking money fights.

He's been sharpening his skills exponentially, fight after fight this guy's been showing us more and more- and he's been doing it against the guys nobody else wants. Yeah he's 26, but he's also a beltholder and champion of this 140lb division. He's the #1 junior welter on the planet, at this point he should have guys chasing him right? Its ridiculous, he's taken the road less traveled with Cherry, and Holt, and Campbell, and Peterson...he's got to do it again with Alexander?? Since when is a top dawg in a division this avoided? I appreciate Devon Alexander, but quite litterally he's wearing Timothy's belt...that he earned fighting on Timothy's undercard. Let him prove something before jaw jackin

Great Matchup and the winner probably has an inside track on an Amir Khan fight or a showdown with one of the big welterweight names. But if I had to pick as of right now, I'll go Bradley just because of how he demolished Peterson.

Boxing is not just a sport, it's a business. A belt, or a ranking does not neccesarily make someone a desirable opponent. Hagler spent years beating high risk, low reward, top ranked MWs that no one wanted to fight until he finally got big break. Bradley is not all that marketbale in he happens to be fighting in a Golden Boy dominated division. Because he's not a Golden Boy fighter, he can be frozen out. Bradley needs to keep taking the best fights available, and keep working the media. Eventually, the big boys will be facing a lot of pressure to fight him.

I would give Devon a fight or two before matching him w/ TB. I am really high on him, but right now, too soon to face Bradley.

I must be the only guy who's not completely on the Alexander bandwagon. I just am not impressed with him yet. Maybe it's the Serena Williams sound effects he puts on when he punches.

You are right. But the more the "business side" is seen as the main factor in making fights, the less a sport it becomes. And it is heading in that direction. Coincidentally as boxing is falling as a mainstream sport. Hell...frigging fans cannot talk about some fights w/o talking about purses or PPV buys...
