Floyd usally takes the first 4 rounds to see what his opponent is bringing, ala Castillo, DLH and Judah. The problem is, Shane is not the guy you want to do that with, in those four rounds enough damage could be done to pay off in the last third of the fight. So the way I see this fight is Floyd will continue to use his scratch and sniff style of boxing, while Shane will look to pressure Floyd and make him fight, Body shots will be key for Shane who does go to the body very well and who does also have great hand speed and power in both hands. Floyd will start to gain some ground in the middle rounds but there will be a cost to what he does gain. in the last third of the fight you will see a much slower Floyd than you have in the previous rounds but it will not be slow in terms of hand speed he just wont be able to move around as much due to the body work that shane will get in. leaving him a stationary target who is trying to slip roll and duck everything, it wont work with shane. Look for Mosley to bang that shoulder and left bicep of Floyds, rather than head hunting. Shane stops Floyd late in the fight..... Shocking all the Floyd Boys and the so called experts.
Similar to mayweather-judah IMO,,, I do feel may will be forced to suck it up and go on the offense in the final rounds tho,,, I see a very interesting beginning an end to it. Floyd by 3 or 4 rounds UD

mayweather by 10 or 11 tko. Mosley is going to bring the best out of Floyd; And that's bad news for Mosley. Before Floyds hand problems he was much more of an aggressive boxer puncher, and in this fight Floyd is going to touch shane at will, but my thoughts are can shane land something hard that PBF doesn't see, shane has a great chin for punches he can see coming; but the ones he don't see are going to hurt him and make the difference in this fight, Shane was out-boxed by Forest twice and winky twice both guys not known for being a power-punchers or using physical strength or muscle or size to win a fight, but they had something in common with Floyd, same reach 72in and great jabs, the jab to the stomach, head and movement are going to win this fight for Floyd. Floyds lead right is going to find its self right at home on shanes chin, and stomach, Floyd is a very underrated body-puncher and Floyd in-fighting is highly under-rated. Floyd has to control distance either by being close in the pocket or at long-distance, to pick of shanes loaded up wide power-shoots. and shane needs to stop closing his damn eyes. shanes is not a thinker and i believe his only hope for is trying to press and early fight knockout before the 5th round. No way in hell can shane box with Floyd. I see either Floyd stopping shane late pending Floyd wants to make a statement, or Floyd pot-shotting mosley to a boring but boxing masterclass
it took Floyd 9 rounds to knock out Ricky Hatton actually it came in the 10th and you think he is going to stop Shane Mosley?
Bazooka i can respect your opinion but seriously Floyd out-landed and threw the more meaningful shoots against Hoya at 154, hoya out weighed floyd by at least 12 or more pounds. Hoya was shoe shining and getting tagged while Floyd set on the ropes. and the only person got hurt in that fight was hoya, lil Floyd made Hoyas legs buckle a number of times.
It took shane 12rounds to ko Mayorga but hoya did it in 6 rounds in better fashion than what tito or shane did. And Mayorga was out-boxing shane before the 12 round ko.
Oscar has a jab Mosley doesn't thus he has nothing to keep PBF honest or disrupt his rhythm. BTW PBF didn't barely scrape by Oscar he won that fight going away.
