I think Hatton would win by pure stregnth. Guzman isnt strong enough to keep him off of him. Otherwise Guzman outclasses hatton.

Yeah right, Hatton has the size advantage, but Guzman would make Hatton look stupid. Way too much speed, plus Hatton is on the verge of being completely shot. Guzman would win easy.

I probably would have agreed a year or 2 ago, but now, i dont think so. I think Hatton is finished.

Bearing in mind that Ali Funeka broke Guzman down you would have to think Hatton would eventually be too big and strong for Guzman , but in reality Guzman may just have to be careful what he wishes for as Ricky is looking for an opponent and this just might happen !!!!!

Why because Pacquiao KO'd him , well before that he had arguably his 2nd or 3rd best career win so how could he be finished !!!!!!

I didn't think that beating pillow fisted Malanaggi was that great of a win. I actually think it fooled a lot of people including the public into thinking that Hatton was better, or more improved then he was.

How , it was a shut out Paulie won round 1 and Hatton won every other , a bad stoppage (Buddy McGirt at his very best) but it was a shut out , Paulie shown he is a good fighter against Diaz , Paulie is a top 8 Jr WW in the world maybe top 5 and thats a high accolade in that division .

Nobody was fooled about Hatton the Ring Magazine made him there fighter of the year , he was a linear champion in his weight division and 3 time World champion , nobody was fooled by Hatton he was the best in his division at one stage of his career thats the facts !!!!!!

I like Hatton, particulary early on when he had fast, heavy hands, reasonably agile and ferocious body punches. However, Malignaggi is not a great win, barely good one. No disrespect to Paulie, who is a slick boxer, but it is a question of styles. Malignaggi may as well have been a bum, there was no way he beats Ricky even 2 times out of 10. Hatton is a pressure fighter and when you are as feather fisted as Paulie you have no possible way to keep him off you and your only option is to fight off the back foot all night and, as showed in the fight, Malignaggi cannot unload those point scoring flurries on the back foot.

Dont want to take away Hattons win, but it has no bearing on how he will perform if tested away 2 demoralising losses and a layoff.
