The Better Skilled? Bad Chad or Timothy Bradley?

    In terms of skill set - Dawson, by a wide margin.

    Bradley is a fan friendly fighter, i'll give him that, but technically he isn't in the same league as Dawson.

    I say too close to call. Defensively, Dawson's skill set is more developed, but Dawson has that major flaw where he can't throw punches while the other guy is throwing. Bradley has no such gaping hole is his skill set.

    Dawson for sure.
    Throws more combos, is more diverse on the offense, has way better defense, beat the better fighters, more fluid, etc..

    Bradley is skilled too and makes real good adjustments but he isn't seeing Dawson's skills.

    I'm leaning Dawson. Against established guys he has done remarkably well(Adamek, Johnson, Tarver), where as we haven't had the opportunities to see that with Bradley

    Bradley and its not even close.......

    Chad relies on his insane speed advantage and shell defense....

    Tim is usually at a disadvantage at height, power, and somtimes speed....

    Chad is a much more gifted athelte, hence he relies on his speed alot more then bradley, who isnt as gifted, but he relies on his toughness and skill more :good

    There is going to be a knee jerk reaction with a lot of peeps voting for Bradley if they havent already.

    Bradley does some things better than Dawson like pressing the attack and Dawson does some things better than Bradley like the Jab.

    But I like Bradley though hes more adept to dealing with different kinds of styles whereas Dawson not so much.

    It's true. But I'm still curious who jumps ship. Bradley wasn't that impressive against Abregu, given Abregu isn't an upper-level guy, and he didn't have the finishing ability at all, but I still actually go for him by a little bit. Jokes about bitter vCash loss aside, I was planning on bumping this after Bradley/Abregu and then changed my mind and figured I should wait till Dawson/Pascal. So, I was going to bump this anyway.

    Yep. Reminds me of a short little interview I saw yesterday. I was watching the Tennis match between Federer and Djokovic and they asked a kid in the stands, "Is Federer the greatest player of all time?" and the kid replied, "I liked Federer, but he has begun to lose games more, so now I prefer Nadal over him."

    Both suck as finishers but Bradley shows more desire to fight & is the smarter fighter. Dawson has the better D. Pretty close to call.

    When thinking about it, Dawson has more potential and Bradley is probably the more skilled one. He can box or fight and has great desire.
