He could have said that because it would probably appeal more to the type of audience he gets. He probably gets more Strictly Come Dancing fans watching his show than Boxing fans.
Just sad that a lot of people (no matter whose audience) obviously know him better for some **** dancing program than as a boxer!
It just goes to show though if big time Boxing was on the BBC, how big a star the likes of Calzaghe, Hatton and Khan would be.
Sad reflection on our country,you spend twenty odd years training,sacrificing sometimes putting yourself in mortal danger,almost every boxer whether famous or not goes through these hardships or you can put on a penguin suit strut around on TV with some fit bird ,get in the paper for shagging someone and youve got fame,Calzaghe is one of the very few boxers who might have a legacy in the sporting world past this shite on TV .makes you wonder why kids these days would want to take up boxing,the noble sport rant over:hey
