Tony dodson INTERVEIW!!!!!!!!!

Good news! I'm glad to hear it. Someone quoted it from the Echo to me. I don't know if you missed my earlier post or not, Tony. But I know you are in contact with Brian Maggee, have you been in contact with him since his big win? And, without looking past Paul Smith, have you discussed the possibility of you two finally getting it on for all the belts should you be successful on the 12th? How would the path to Maggee map out for yourself? Thanks for the reply, Tony. Good luck too, mate.

 

It would be great if the winner was to fight magee, would really define the best of british. I tihnk either fighter would be a good match up, and neither particulary struggles with southpaws either, so could make for a few bombs flying

I see a scrappy affair tight at the cards maybe 115-113 either way im pulling for Tony.

 

poss too much for Tony, but smigga is an unknown entity at that level, so hard to say if magee would be too good. if smigga beats dodson, which i am pulling for, then he will deserve to be in the ring with magee.

 

Not really all the half decent fighters Smith he has been in with so far he has either lost or just done enough, and they are fighters a level or two below Magee.

Defo no trainer, you would understand if you saw my embarrasing paunch!

No i am just a fan, think he has got the beating of dodo, but it won't be easy, and i want to give respect to dodo by saying i think he will be a massive test for Paul.
We all got our favourites, and anyone who sees a lot of my posts will know Smigga is one of my favourites.
Magee would be a tough fight for both guys though, but Smith needs those sorts of fights if he comes through dodson, or else he wont progress, or get the respect he deserves

 

i thought un did mate. must of read it wrong. i like smith alot more than dodson and hope he wins. dodson got a big size advantage tho. i was edging towards dodson but aint so sure now.

 

Thing with dodo is that he could probably comfortably make LHW, and more than likely has to burn a lot more to get to SMW that Smigga. I think this may have it's advantages for Smigga.
Dodson will bring something Smigga hasn't had properly in his career, which is a war. H e has played it rough a few times. When he fought Jonathan Reid in usa v uk contender, there was a lot of holding, and fighting on the inside, and smigga showed he could mix it. Plus when the fight was like this, smigga showed he oculd find the space and tagged his man well, putting him down.
I see the fight with dodo going a similar way. Dodo will have more natural strength than anyone smigga has faced before too, and he will bring it big time. But i have seen smigga thrive on this type of fight where it is on top.
I see a close ud for paul or mid to late stoppage for smigga depending on how quickly he gets in to his stride.

I think so, and he always seems to find a way to win too, apart from the bendall blemish on his record, which to be fair was pretty scandalous
